The only good thing to come from the world possibly ending tomorrow would be that I wont be getting tortured by the MS anymore after that. But, that's the only plus that I can see from the world ending in the morning.

Did they say what time the world ends tomorrow? Will I get to sleep in, or do I need to get up early?

again, I'll be really really peeved if I miss getting my iPad on monday because of this.

btw the whole mayan thing is that all the planets are going to be in direct alignment with each other. So, a complete and full circle comes to an end. This means its time for a NEW calander, not that the world ends. This is also why we have so many huge storms, floods, earth quakes and so on. As each planet lines up to the other one we all start pulling on each other and shift from our orignal pole positions.

So, this guy wouldnt give up his money to you, but still believes tomorrow is the end? I guess he doesnt have a firm believe does he? The sun is finally coming out tomorrow, I will be upset if the first sunny day in months turns out to be all about fire and brimstone.

Every day is the last day..until we wake up the next day.

Live every day as if it's your last...

Isn't that the optimum way to live?

And the most difficult?

Default I agree

My friend called me today asking the same thing. I regret to inform everyone that is buying into this nonsense, but the bible states that no one on earth will know when the end of times is/will come. As far as seeing anyone in my town, I don't think so, but I didn't actually go into town today.

Back in the 1800s, there was a group of people that followed a guy named Miller, that thought the world was going to end in 1843. Gosh, were they surprised when that didnt happen! (Google the Millerites)

When it didnt happen, his followers called it "The Great Disappointment". Miller predicted a few more "end of the world" dates, and people finally figured out that Miller was nuts, or in it for the money (he was publishing papers or books about his prophesy and people were snatching up his books)

This time around, the guy preaching the end of the world today, his name is Camping...does that mean that people who believe him that today is the end of the world should be called "Campers"??

They're going to be Unhappy Campers pretty soon when they realize today isnt the day.

There's always got to be someone every few years or decades that thinks the end of the world is "near". At least Camping isnt so far gone that he's telling his followers to off themselves like the Heaven's Gate cult, or the Aum Shinrikyo cult in Japan (that's the cult that released sarin gas in the Tokyo subway)

I hope that later today or tomorrow, when people realize the world is still here, that they're not so disappointed that they kill themselves. If that happens, then I hope Camping gets brought up on charges of some sort.

People have been predicting the end of the world since the beginning of the world. It'll happen someday, but I doubt we'll have any advance warning of it.

Rapture Day humor. This tweet made me laugh.

"I think it is beginning! Ten minutes ago there was a group of people waiting at the bus stop in front of my house. Now they're all gone!"
