I live in New Hampshire for pity sake and it was well over 90! we are NOT used to this! we are all melting. DH put the ACs in the windows last week before we went away so I was ready to hide in the house. This is silly to go from Snow to Fire in the same month.

No wonder I haven't heard from my cousin in Atlanta today, she's probably sitting in her refrigerator. Yikes. I think I'll stay here!

Around July I say, "I'll never complain about winter again!!" Then around the middle of January I say, "I'll never complain about summer again!" Of course I don't mean it. I hate summer and winter equally.

It was hot out here in Omaha earlier (80something?)

In the past few hours tho, it's clouded up, and the temperature is dropping...and it's really windy outside. I'm just waiting for them to start announcing tornado watches and warnings. Saw on the radar that there's a huge storm out west of here. Just waiting to see if we get something nasty coming up later tonight.

Cool Beach closed!!!

It was so hot in Chicago, the police closed a beach yesterday. I thought that was where you went to enjoy the heat and cool off.

Today is going to be hotter than yesterday here. My A/C is running 24/7. TY Lord..

I hope that this is not going to be another record hot summer. I'm already hoping for snow..

Sally, mine ran a good part of yesterday, too. I thank the good Lord everyday that I have A/C. It's times like this that I'm also thankful for the "budget billing" plan our electric company offers. My bill is the same amount each month year round. That is a blessing in itself!

Oh he!!, Kelly, we'll be in the 100s tomorrow, maybe even today. YUCK!!! I am so not ready for this. At least the mornings and evenings are still cool so we get some break. A/C or evaporative cooler is a must here. I would not survive with out one.
