could "contented" be past tense?

Not to be picky, but I think when used in a sentence such as "I am content", they are both adjectives and synonymous.
You can also use content as a verb: "I'll content myself with this"...

I'm a stickler for grammar, too, Barb.
I've never used "contented". I've always thought "content" was used exclusively for both present and past tense. I learned something new! ![]()
