Default Some call them New Years Resolutions...

...and some call them aspirations.

My main one is to deepen my spiritual practice.

I also want to learn a new language; as research shows that is a good way to exercise the brain (I still have some problems with memory).

Other than that, I aspire to follow through on a graduated exercise program so as to regain the coordination, strength and flexibility that was lost over the last couple of years.

So, does anyone else have any for the New Year?

With love, Erika

I aspire to find Santa's list of where all the bad girls live before next Christmas. But then again, I guess my wife would probably not be quite as enthusiastic about that end of the year road trip...so maybe I will just aspire to stay on my bike...get a little faster...and hopefully a bit slimmer as I go. I would aspire to stop procrastinating, but I think after 25+ years of that one, I might as well go ahead and get around to doing it this year instead of just aspiring to do it.

Trying to get back on track, keep my depression on the shelf, centering and being more in the moment. Making goals and trying to achieve them (for a change). I want to get involved in something outside the house, and I've found a 2x/month meeting that discusses issues political/ecological, etc. Something right up my alley.
I also would like to take some type of computer course, but I don't know what I don't know...you know? So I don't know what class to sign up for.

Being a good patient, taking my shots daily, meds, and doing stretches in order to improve my well-being.

Also want to make sure to get over to the food pantry a couple times per month. I usually fill up my trunk with food and paper products like TP, diapers, etc, and I bring plastic grocery bags for the people who use the pantry's services.
