That always sticks in my mind when I hear that or "minor injuries" on a news report. Of course, it's GOOD news when there are no serious or life-threatening injuries, but I always think about those people and wonder how "minor" their injuries are to them?
If my granddaughter had broken a wrist or leg this spring, she couldn't have worked this summer, and she wouldn't be able to go back to school. Back in the day, my best friend broke her ankle and missed out on spending a semester in England, and she was devastated. Anyway, just thinking. Pray for the people with "minor" injuries, too.
