Default Panic time...my a/c is broken!

First let me explain about how I go about getting it repaired. My landlord has a "service contract" with a company that does repairs for major appliances and things like the a/c. I call the company and set up an appointment.

I got up this morning and the house was 80 degrees! I called the service company and they don't have an appointment until between 8am and 1pm tomorrow .

I explained that I have a heat intolerant illness. They put me.on the cancellation list as top priority.

I will probably have to stay at a hotel tonight and rush back to the house by 7 am because the service company calls right before they come. If you don't answer they don't show up. If the husband is off tomorrow he could stay here to answer the phone in the morning BUT I seriously doubt that. He'll want to stay at the hotel with me, ARGH! I could tell him too bad buddy you're staying home but that will lead to a weekend of him being a bigger ***** than usual.

I could call a repair company myself but lord knows what that will cost me.

Thanks for letting me vent .
