My iPhone is so awesome, my work phone, so if they fire me I'll have to upgrade to one for my personal phone. Steve Jobs has been described as the Einstein of modern technology.

He was only 56 years old, I'm 53. Imagine how much more he might have accomplished if he had been healthy?

My first computer was a Trash-80 Model III also.

My sister is the one in the family that was a Macintosh user since the 80s. She had an Apple II C (or was it II E? It was the very early 80s I think)

I didnt get converted to Apple computers till 2007. I was a Windows user and didnt want to switch. Then my dad handed down his white iMac to me and I fell in love with it. I pretty much ignored my Windows desktop computer for well over a year. Didnt even bother to turn it on because I was so busy playing with the iMac.

Last year, my dad handed down his aluminum iMac to me, and I handed down the white iMac to my sister.

I really do like Apple products now. Before I got the iMac, the only Apple product I had was a classic iPod. (video iPod) Now I've also got an iPad and I've pretty much abandoned my Windows laptop and desktop computers for my Apple stuff.

I think computers made huge jumps from that Trash-80 we got when I was 13. I remember how basic every thing was. My sister's Apple IIc (IIe? whatever) was just a glorified calculator compared to what we can do with the iMacs and iPads.

I dont think I could have imagined 30yrs ago that I'd someday have something like an iPad or an iPod Touch. I'm sure my little iPod has more computing power than that Trash-80 did.

It's too bad that Steve Jobs got hit with cancer when he did. I would have liked to see what else he could have come up with if he'd lived. (the iCar. No more having to drive myself. Just get in, tell the car where I want to go and it takes me there. No driving stress)

My next computer is probably going to be a Mac Mini (small, easy to take to the Apple Store to get fixed when it has a problem)

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs!

Did you play the role-playing games on a BBS? Just scrolling words and no pics? My kids think we're strange when my husband and I tell them about those games! I ran an elementary school computer lab with 32 of the Apple IIe computers. Imagine loading software between classes for all 32. We finally got the lab networked my last year there.

hmmm... did you go to school in TX? I caught someone trying to print hall passes!

Be a yardstick of quality.
Some people aren't used
To an environment
Where excellence is expected
