Default Cyber Monday, big deal

So far I've had emails offering 30% of your first item excluding clearance, and free shipping if you spend $125. That type of thing. Big deal.

A friend of mine was buying a bunch of stuff from some website that had 15% off everything. If I wasn't going to buy a bunch of stuff from them anyway, I don't call 15% much of a savings. Just saying.

Hubby needs a new outdoor vest.(his is in tatters now) We found a good deal on LLBean over the weekend online.... 10% off and free shipping, on any price range. They send us emails.

In fact LLBean has no shipping charges I think most often now.

It is out of stock until mid January, but that's okay with us!

I've been looking at deals but haven't bought anything yet.

I have certain websites that I deal with on a regular basis. For things like cat food, personal products/healthcare products, etc.

I already know what I'm getting my boys for Christmas so the only ones I need to get something for are their girlfriends. And the cats.

This year will be lean. Last year was, too. But we enjoy the visiting and food.

I did most of my online shopping about a week or two ago. Just waiting for a few things to show up.

Probably going to wish I'd done more, because I went to WalMart over the weekend, and only lasted about a half hour before I felt like I was going to fall over. (stupid MS flare!) They werent even busy, and I didnt have the energy to do everything I wanted to do.

Only thing I have bought online is a new phone. I use a Tracfone for my cell phone. I don't like those contracts and I can make 100 minutes last a full year, costs $99. for 1 year of minutes. But I have the cheapest of the phones and the camera is really bad. I don't text much at all and the new phone has a full keyboard and better camera. My daughter calls it a Blackberry wanna be. It is $19.99 with free shipping.

Some of my stuff I ordered last week showed up today. I was only expecting one of the things I got. (they had free 2 day shipping on it) Was surprised the 2nd thing I ordered (from the same place as the first AND bought 6hrs later without any free shipping) arrived today too. Happy they're both here, now I wont be stressing over them since they're both the 2nd half of two big presents my dad and sister are getting.

I'm impressed with myself. I'm almost done shopping. I've never been this done this early. I just have to take my mom shopping. (probably doing that tomorrow) If I get done getting all the big stuff, then I have lots of time to buy the cheap, meaningless gifts for stocking stuffers. I just need more stuff to give my mom. All I've gotten for her so far is a calendar and a Bill Clinton book. She needs more stuff. Good thing I can take her shopping and if she sees anything she likes I can buy it and she probably wont remember me buying it when she was with me. (or she wont notice if I put it in the cart)

I really didn't see any great deals either Black Friday or Cyber Monday for anything I'm looking at. I guess if you are giving out big flat screen TV's, there are tons of deals out there. I don't know anyone giving those out a Christmas, though.

My old computer and dial-up internet probably saved me some bucks. I got sick of waiting for pages to load while I was looking at some stuff at JC Penney and a couple of other websites. There's nothing I really need anyway, but on tv they make it sound as though they're practically giving everything away. Ha.

It wouldn't matter if you had high speed, the pages weren't loading anyway. Everything was so tied up that pages weren't loading on my FiOS line, either.
