Jules, I am sorry that happened :( You had alot to offer in many of the threads.

NeuroTalk is run quite differently than the other forum. There are a fair amount of members of the MS forum who were once members of the other and some of us still are.

I feel it's important to keep the two separate and not to air 'dirty laundry' here on Neurotalk. I have been a member on NeuroTalk for quite a few years and enjoy what it has to offer as well as the kindness and fairness of the Moderators, Administrators and of course, Doc John.

It is almost hilarious. Gee what is it someone once said?

well behaved women seldom make history

I'm guessing I know the board ;)

I could also post a thing or two, but best not to. All I know (besides my own experience w/"them") is that a good friend also was banned from The Board Which Must Not Be Named. It was over something said in chat. I happened to be there when it all happened and as far as I'm concerned, nothing slap on the wrist worthy, let alone ban worthy occurred....and I used to mod there.

I'm in lurk mode there now, myself. I used to love the place, but lately the atmosphere has changed, due to some mod issues and a member I have had a run in or two with. Rather than say something I'll regret later, I'm just not posting for now. No need to get my knickers in a twist over it.:)

OK Jules,
What'd you do? You always seem so nice here! LOL.

I've been censored, never booted. As a child of the 60's, I am in awe of you. Question authority.

I'v4e done it twice in my former job. One where I just walked away thinking a professional's opinnion was wrong, wrong, wrong and he as an idiot and fought another to get a re-classification. #$%@ em Jules.

Thanks so much for writing. You gals are the best. :grouphug:

When I got censored there, I decided to ban myself and left for here.

I banned myself from another MS forum because I was being stalked by a forum member. (they followed me to other MS forums and actually into a crochet forum to harass me, which is another reason I dont use my full real name on the internet now) That was back when I first found out I had MS. Not sure that old forum is still in existence now.

Seems like I tend to attract the crazies in real life, sometimes it crosses over into my internet life too. (at least that's only happened once. My real life stalker is apparently too lazy to stalk me on the internet, thank goodness. I dont run in the same geeky comic book store circles as I used to, so I only get him following me if I see him at the mall or a restaurant)

That is scary. Thank goodness I haven't ever been the target of a stalker.

The worst I have had to deflect is cute but useless young men back in the day and now a few of my geriatric patients who seem to think I'm special. ;)
