Default Kitty!!

I missed you yesterday. Did you have a nice Mother's Day? Tell us about it.

I got a visit from DD and Grands, some candy and lovely cards. One SSon called and the other one sent a big bouquet of flowers. I got a lot of good wishes on FB too. It was a Happy Day!!

What did the rest of you Mothas do?

My oldest son came over about noontime. Youngest came over when he got back into town around 3:30. It rained all day here......hard soaking rain......so we stayed in, watched movies and ordered the new Artisan pizzas from Dominoes! Spinach & Feta and Chicken Bacon Carbonara.....both were excellent. Not greasy like traditional pizza is.

Our original plan was to go get flowers for my planter/bench on the front porch but it was just too messy out. We'll do that another time.

I got two of the sweetest cards, too. Both boys are shy about actually saying stuff out loud but they write the sweetest things in a card. I treasure the cards I get from them......and have saved them as far back as 1986!

Sounds like you had a good day, Sally. I'd love to get flowers for inside the house but the cats just go beserk and try to eat them.....and I'm not sure which ones are poisonous......so I just don't have flowers in the house.

What'd everybody else do?

I took my mom out for lunch and slots at a local casino. It was her choice. The noise from those machines starts drving me a tad bit loco after a little while. She won; I lost The place was packed with seniors.

Barb, I really have to send you "Pretty in Pink" earplugs...

DS36 and DS32 took us out to breakfast (DS36 paid). I got a card from DS36 that made me tear up, and flowers from both. DD sent me a basket of cookies by design with one that said, "To the best mom I ever had" (she believes in reincarnation, and when she was 4 told me, in a very serious voice, that she was my mother...)

DS34 called, which is a gift itself, since he rarely does...
