After 15 years DD has asked her DH to vacate the premises. It's not the first time, but this may be the last time! He has been able to mend his stupid ways and talked her out of it in the past, but not this time, she says.
As most of you know, she is the bread winner of the family. She has worked up the ladder to provide for her DH and 5 Children, while DH took care of kids at home. For the first 7 or so years, they made this work. DH took his job seriously and was active in their school and other activities. He had a substance problem in there, but was rehibilitated? (for awhile) He studied and became a great chef at home. The family seem ok and moving right along. I guess the responsibility was all just too much for him, because he has fallen back into his substance abuse, and thus is no longer a good Father, DH, Cook, Caregiver, etc... DD has no love, right now, for him and no longer trusts him to care for the Kids. I feel so bad for DD, Kids and yes for DH too. I always taught my DD to not Expect too much from those to whom God had given so little. But with him, because of her love, gave him every opportunity to improve himself and step up to the plate. I guess it's the 9th inning and he has struck out. Please remember my DD and her Family in your prayers, for the strength and courage to get thru this awful time.

Aw, Sally, I'm sorry. It's hard to watch our children go through tough situations.....no matter how old they are. They're always our children. I will keep this family in my prayers.

Well, if she has no love for him any longer, and she's already the breadwinner, it sounds like she'll be much better off w/o him.
Even so, wish it would have worked out for them. Sorry Sal.

aww, sal...im so sorry! its so hard to watch our children fall down and scrape their knees. Its so hard when they have an abusive spouse to not scream your head off them when they walk out the door, just in case they return, and you look like the one who is the bad guy. So hard to sit and be quiet while your child talks about how horrible things got.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Yes, all I can do is pray and be here for her, when sh needs me. I feel so helpless.
I hate that she had recently stopped her LDN and Prozac, to get all the chemicals out of her body. I have advised her to go back on them. She was doing very well on them until she went on the all natural kick. I have noticed that some of her moodiness and quick temper are creepin back in.. I know that Mommy doesn't know all, but now is no time to cut all crutches. I hope she listens and doesn't blow me off, as usual. Thanks for your responses and your prayers..

Aww Sal...such a cute family. Your DD's so pretty...
It hurts like heck to see our kids suffer...even more difficult, IMO, when it's your kid causing the pain...I have one of those Prayers for all of you during this very difficult time. Hope your DD llistens to her ma & gets those crutches back...
