Default Jack the cat is all better

Saw the naturopathic vet today for a follow up. he was very pleased with jack's progress, and said he can be taken off the rest of his meds. he is there if we have questions, want to talk, or jack feels ill again, but he said Jack the cat can now do once a year visits like the rest of the cats in the world.

WAHOO! remember back when, I said "either fix this cat, or put him to sleep!" I was so tired, and worn to a nub with worry about that poor sick cat. Now he runs the house, plays, eats, sleeps with his sister, and makes trouble wherever he goes. He is back to being a lovable cat who is enjoying his life, instead of hiding in the armoir drugged and miserable.

Rock on Jack!

I am glad for Jack and you that he is better. So much for the Catio and a more normal life without the drugs he was on!

I know with Oreo....who should not be alive today, with her
cancer (diagnosed by biopsy), she does well when she can go out and be in our yard. She had a 2mon prognosis without surgery last Oct. 6mos with surgery ... We opted for NO surgery--- here she is today running around and doing everything she loves. She is 1 lb thinner, but still strong and enjoying life. We are on the 3rd pulse of Prednisolone, with a 5mg every other day maintenance. So her blood work was normal...and the Vet said we could take her upNorth again this summer. We are taking the Vet info for that location incase we have an emergency...but we expect her to do okay this trip. Never in the Vet's expectations or ours, did we think she would get this far. She is 14 now with a rare cancer and still going strong.

Environment, attitude, diet and love, and she is still here!

Too bad he can't do the same for you at the same cost, instead of that shmancy fancy, expensive theropist you are going to see.

Jack sez MEOW! feed me!!!

If my new therapist can do half for me what Jacks vet did for him, I consider it a win, and money well spent. its more important than an ipad, or a new car (that I wouldnt be able to drive anyway) its better than new clothes, or even a vacation to Italy that we were planning in October for our 25th wedding anny. Almost to the 1/3 mark. Please dear god let this woman do the same for me that Jack had done.

He is bubbly, bouncing, running around chasing anything that moves, and is a very happy cat. What a change from the cat that was terrified you would touch him, would run and hide every time a car drove by. Being injected with narcotic pain meds 3x a day and dribbling urine where ever he went. It was a rough patch but we made it!
