I haven't gotten an update today. That drives me crazy for two reasons, one I need an update. 2nd, I'm a nurse and jsut want to know things! The update I got yesterday was that his breathing tube had come out and they were going to take out the chest tubes yesterday eve. Then if everything went well he would move out to regular ICU today. That is going along much faster than they were told it would. They were told to expect him to be in the open heart unit for a week. God does answer prayers

i know it's maddening to not get medical info.
that sort of thing helps me to stay in control of things around me.

but this all sounds like a good sign.

Just talked to my brother. Little one is still congested so he is still in ICU. Plus he isn't eating so they put a feeding tube in again. Everyone is exhausted but glad that everything is going as well as it is.
