Default The Rainbow Bridge.

Today I, sadly, told my DD, who has been taking care of my "Pal",
for a few years now, that she has my permission to end his suffering.
Before this last visit, I thought he seemed like a still, pretty happy,
relatively alert and content old Dog! After seeing him last Saturday
and talking to my DGD, I see that he is no longer that doggy and no
longer happy.

I don't know when she will do this, I'll leave that to her judgement
and feelings, but I knew she wouldn't do it without my OK.

I'm so sorry Sally.
It is still sad when out of love and compassion, the time come to make that decision.
In my thoughts

With love, Erika

So sorry to hear this Sal. It's never easy to let go of the ones we love, even when we know they need our help.
Love and hugs to you and your Pal.

I am so sorry Sally. Would it help you for her to bring Pal over one last time for you to say goodby?

Pal was a wonderful pet. You are helping him more than you know Sally.

Heart Hugs to you!!

This is a time when we are deeply sad, all we can think of is to always keep thinking of the fun times we had with them. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aw Sally, so sorry...it's one of those sad parts of loving our fur babies...hope your tears and sadness are quickly replaced by smiles as you recall all of your joyous moments with your baby

though it's a rough decision it's a humane one that we don't give ourselves when life becomes too painful to endure...
