Simply awesome - honest and straight from the heart. Loved it - you write beautifully, have you thought about filling your home hours with writing more than an amazing article? I, for one would buy the whole book.

Being in a wheelchair ain't for sissies. My neighbor once asked me to do something she didn'[t dare because she said I had brass ^!^$. Maybe. Maybe I am one tough broad. Always thought SandyC was too.

Yes, walking is nice, but not everything. I like my cognitive, relative (hey, I am getting older) intactness. A wheelchair is only a tool, neither end or beginning. DH fears for his toes. The dogs move out of my way, but lay by my chair when they can. MS sucks, but do and use what you can.

Me, a little militant yes, but maybe I really am a pirate in a wheelchair!
