My take on James is this - at first I was put off by that pink mohawk as well but you can't judge a book by its cover. When Amanda passed out the other houseguests just seemed like they couldn't deal and had no clue what to do. James stepped right in and took over until medical help arrived, all while keeping his calm. Wow, between that and his personality he won me over. :D

I agree, Cherokee..:)

Ditto Sally....He's turning out to be a fine young man. Very seriouse nature and lots of inititive. Not enough of that in the young generation right now...as can be seen by his roommates. Glad they broke up the couples, it's getting much better now!

True~ I think James has the cutest smile and it does go to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover.... I thought it was cute the way Chelsea dyed a strip of her hair pink to match James... They are cute together.

I vote to evict Matty and Natty.... *gag*

Jappy 03-14-2008 08:56 PM

I didn't get into BB this year.

SURVIVOR Felt sorry for Johnatan, but your life is more important
then money. They said he had surgery and is doing good.

DOYDIE The Apprentice should be very interesting next week.
2 - are going 2 left
Who do you think is going to make it?

AI--was right on the nose. Aussie is goooood (wife in picture)
(never said you can't dream)

Does anyone watch WIFE SWAP. That show is unbelieveable
at times. I love watching it. It gives me a good laugh, which I need to
build up my spirits.

Jappy :):)

DM 03-14-2008 09:06 PM

I love Wife Swap, Jappy~~~ But, it's opposite BB I think, so haven't been getting to watch it.... Now, that's entertainment!!!

Jappy 03-15-2008 06:03 PM

You missed a good one of Wife Swap this past Wed. DM

One Family was Italian***They catered to their oldest son, who was a
Body Builder. The youngest son was ignored. He
was always rebelling. Mom did everything there is to
do, for family and especially taking care of oldest
son. Dad believed that was the Italian way.
WOMEN DO ALL

The other Family of German Heritage*** They owned a small German
Style Lodge for vacationers. They
all dressed in Traditional German
Style Wear. Had a son and Daughter
Kids never had anytime for anything
except to work for the business and
obey Mom & Dad.

The story was the Italian to teach German their way and vice, versa

A lot of fighting. Italian mom even put the business up for sale.
It was a laugh.

Tonight starts Dancing With The Stars, and The Bachelor.

A British one at that. Should we tell Chris :D

Jappy :)

doydie 03-17-2008 11:56 PM

Joyce, I think The Donald will leave Pearce and Lennox Lewis. In a commercial I heard him say "I want to see then fight". I can't imagine Carol or, I'm frawing a blamk-the country music guy, fighting. Or maybe Donald is saying that they aren't working hard enough and he wants to see them actually fighting for the prize. I still think its Pearce and Lewis.

There were to many shows on tonight so I haven't watched Dancing with the stars yet. I also taped TLCs Life as a soccer Mom. I have to do Mom's grocery shopping tomorrow and I can never get out of her apartment in less than two hours. So hopefully I'll get a chance to at least watch DWTS tmorrow. I also want to get to Lowes and pick up one of the 12 cent wall tiles and see what I can do about putting craft paint on it for a hand print. So tomorrow is a busy day.

I saw advertisements for this show last week. I've never watched it. Was he cute?:D Should I trade in my used American husband for a newer younger Brit?

He was very handsome, prim, polite and proper. His personality seems
to be open and fun

Nooooooooooo you keep your American Man.

doydie 03-19-2008 12:00 AM

Biggest Loser was good tonight. They are at the point that they look so good! They had a fashion show sposored by Macys and all got $1,000.00 gift cert from Macys. Unfortunately someone has to go and that was Britanny. She is so beautifull. The dress they put her in for the fashion show showed a little to much though.

AI was a wash out. I guess the only good thing about it was that out of the 11 left, only maybe 3 were any good. that menas that the other 8 have an equal chance at going or staying. Yes, the Aussie was part of the 8 who were eqaully bad. I haven't watched my tape of DWTS.

I'm really tired tonight. We are having torrential rainfalls here and we are having a lot of water in our lower level. We live in a bilevel so there is half our living space down there. I feel we will have to have all the carpet changed. So I have spent tthe evening mopping up water, putting towels down, picking sopping wet towels up and dragging them to the washer to go through the spin cycle, drying them and them putting them down again. I wish we had a wwet cac. Unfortunately my husband worked evenings tonight. We have three rooms that aren't carpeted and i am trying to keep the water from reaching the carpet.

AZjanie 03-19-2008 10:14 AM

I agree Biggest Loser was really good and they ALL look great. Mom and I snack on advertisements out of respect for the contestants.

That dress was really R-rated and I didn't think she would wear it but it did look smokin' hot on her.

I could never wear anything that revealing as my chest is more Tarzan than Jane. :o

I kept going back and forth to AI. I really wish they would sing something other than Beatle songs.

New shows are starting now so will be taping one with the DVR and watching another.

SallyC 03-19-2008 12:24 PM

BB is getting better and better..:icon_twisted: The HOH took the gal off the block and put up Matt instead..Hehe, He found out that it was Matt who did not vote him back in.

AI was OK, I can't think of Names, but I like the sweet faced, short haired little guy. He is terrific. Of the girls, I like the tatooed girl...great voice and range.

It looks like The Aussie might not make it to the end, Koala....sorry.:( I still like him, but he's simply not the best singer.

DWTS is OK, but not as good as last time. That Rocker can sure dance.:)

Oh, I absolutely loved when James went back on his word and put Matt on the block. :D And furthermore, I totally understand. James would've stayed true to his word if it hadn't been for finding out about Matt lying about voting for him. And I realize there are different playstyles to BB but my goodness Matt's played a rather slimy game, and not very well I might add!

Jappy 03-19-2008 07:05 PM

I got so involved watching TBL I forgot about AI. Good excuse to say
why I forgot.

Brittany's dress was a little "Revealing" but she looked great.

Tonight I had better not forget to watch.

Well survivor is on now. Got to go and watch.

Celeb. Appren. looks like it is going to be interesting tomorrow night.

Yes, I meant Matt not Adam...Duh!! ..I'll be glad to see him go.

doydie 03-19-2008 11:25 PM

Well it's official. The Aussie is on tour. I think we need to make him the MBs canidate. Personally I am not sorry that Amanda left tonight. I know a lot of people liked her but all she did was scream last night. I think she will have a strong career ahead for her though.

Survivor. I know a lot of people (on the tribe) didn't like Tracey but I did , I thought she was a very strong woman that just got out voted by the strong favs on her team. I think all the fans are in trouble excep Natilie and Alexis. I just hope Erik can stay on long enough to learn all he wants from Ozzie. And I hope Ozzie realizes that being an idol comes with responsibilities. I hope kathy recovers. Survivor is not on next week.

I still haven't watched my tape from last night DWTS. I put it in the VCR but the silly thing won't turn on and I can't get the tape out to put it in the other VCR on the other TV. I should have just wayched it on the TV I recorded it on but we were using the wet vac as a fan and it was to loud down there.

doydie 03-20-2008 11:49 PM

Well I finally got to watch my recording of DWTS ladies edition. Kristie, Priscilla and Marlee were wonderful. The only one I didn't like was the girl from Broadway and I think the only reason I didn't like her was because she was just to bubbly.

I could have predicted that The Donald would have left Piers (sorry for the mispelling earlier) in the game. He thinks just like Donald. But TRace is going to have to put some fire under him. Or maybe there's more to him than you see. It was funny when he called The Back street boy's manager to talk to him before they got in town and they didn't know who he was. He knew his job was in trouble then. Next week will be interesting.

Jappy 03-21-2008 03:15 PM

Doydie: Hi

Donald sure pulled one out of the hat. I figured also that Piers would

be chosen but never Trace.

He is to nice and honest against Piers. Hope all the Country Singers
get there to help. It was funny with the meeting with the Back Street Boys.

But, as the saying goes You Never Know, What Is lurking In The Back.

I do hope that Trace does win. Missed DWS. Hope to catch up next
wee.

After I posted I caught the WEE I started to laugh so hard at
myself. That's what you get for not checking what you wrote. I was
wondering who was going to pick it up.

I ment WEEK

I really don't know where they are dancing. Doydie is up on DWS
maybe she knows.

doydie 03-21-2008 10:27 PM

All I now is that the show is on ABC. I don't know where it is being filmed.

I'm not sure if it is considered a reality show or not but I've enjoyed watching the figure skating world championships. So far the USA skaters haven't done well but the skating is beautiful.

SallyC 03-24-2008 09:07 PM

Ok in DWTS, I think Yamiguchi is the best of the women and Monica seles is the worst. Of the Men, Mario is the best and the magician is the worst. There are, also, a lot of good ones inbetween.:)

On BB, I think James is on his way out..too bad, I like him.

doydie 03-24-2008 10:35 PM

Sally, I agree with your assessment of DWTS is correct. Althouhg the rest of the people apparently don't. On the 'DialIdol' web site, Penn is listed right now in 3rd place. You have to take into consideration that it is going by phone votes only. It also puts Priscilla in last place. I don't agree with that. I'm not up on all the names yet but the tennis star or the Broadway diva should be in last place for right now.

Tomorrow night is one of my worst nights for TV right now. Biggest loser, American Idol and DWTS are on at the same time. My DVR only tapes 2 and I can't watch a 3rd. If my husband were at work I would tape the other one on the other TV but he's on vacation. He likes to use the VCR on his TV. Luckily the first hour of DWTS is a recap and AI is oly 90 minutes long, I think. So I can turn it over then to DWTS but Tom host guy says that the eliminations will be on at the very first.

Well if I don't tape both TBL and AI, I can switch it over to DWTS during commercial breaks. Thanks, you helped me think through this!

MSacorn 03-25-2008 11:18 AM

Reminder for DM

I just checked the cable guide and the first hour of DWTS is a recap w/the judges. The elimination is the 2nd hour. That should help, if the guide is correct.

Jappy 03-25-2008 03:09 PM

Sal & Doydie

I am in the same situation. I guess I will be doing a
lot of clicking between commercials.

I don't know where the instructions are to tape a show
on my VCR so I am out of luck that way.

Can't wait for Thursday to watch Celebrity Apprentice.
I hope that Trace wins. On the previews they just keep showing
the stars that Pierc is getting. Simon Cowell is going to be there.

Jappy

DM 03-25-2008 03:38 PM

Thanks Beth~ I remembered Fam Jewels was on and was blowing a gasket thinking HOW I was going to watch/tape everything. I will tape FJ's later.

DWTS's is good, but I'm just not as excited as previous yrs. Pricilla Presly has had so much plastic surgery that she reminds me of the Joker on Batman.

TBL is always good.

BB tonigh ! Woohoo! Evel D is coming back tonight and I saw a preview and it's a hoot! I am a James fan. He has the cutest, impish face, even tho I'm not a pink mohawk fan, but he's got morals... I like that.

Boohoo - Matty is gone. (hahahaha) And, I think Natalie is bonkers!
She and her fake ta ta's always hanging out...

Tonight is just toooooo much stress for me..:eek::eek::eek:

doydie 03-26-2008 12:13 AM

You Aussies should be proud tonight. Michael Johns rocked the house!!!!! That was my kind of music. Some of the others were good but I really enjoyed him.

The testosterone just got lower on TBL ranch. The blue team has been dominating every week and they got so confident. They didn't count on Jillian. The two players up for elimination were both from the blue team. So Dan went home. He does look good. During the main challenge they had to go through a typical sports stadium collecting food and bring it down and put on their opponents tables. Dan did a lot of eating of the food on the way and he told Allison he was just having fun. That's not the way to lose weight and stay on the ranch. That's also why he only lost 1 pound. I was so proud of Ali. She may make it to 100 pounds lost on the ranch.

After AI, I turned it over and watched DWTS. I wasn't sorry to see Penn go but I was sorry to see the tennis star go. But yet I'm not sure who was the one to go for the ladies.

Jappy 03-26-2008 09:03 AM

I was so happy to see Dan go on TBL. He got such a big head and
felt no one was going to touch him. Sure a bite here and a bite there will
add up and it did HA

The Aussie is on his way.

On DWTS wasn't able to watch it all because of the other shows, but
America did right PENN was a big Frankenstein trying to dance.
Not to sound harsh because of his height and body, But don't make a
spectacle of yourself in something that is not for you. Well he is sort of a
comedian, it probably was fun for him.

Jappy ( going to enjoy the nice weather today )

DM 03-26-2008 09:47 AM

Thanks Doyd and Jappy for the info. I was flipping around like crazy last night. Didn't see much of DWTS's. I watched BB and loved it.

James got the POV!! I've decided that I cannot hardly tolerate Sheila anymore. I never did care much for her, but she has got to go soooon.

I have so much on my tape to watch; may have to go into seclusion.

Popcorn anyone??

Have a good day out in the nice weather Jappy, and don't get into any trouble.. :winky:

AfterMyNap 03-26-2008 04:06 PM

Anyone know what ever happened to the lie detector show? Did it go off the air? Was anyone hurt or maimed?

MSacorn 03-26-2008 06:40 PM

Cindy
The season finale for the moment of truth is next week, Monday I think.

It's supposed to be the most controversial one yet. Aren't they all. I can't believe people will destroy lives, theirs and others just for money.

SallyC 03-26-2008 10:41 PM

I can't believe I missed AI last night.. I missed all the good singing...darn... Well I'm glad my favs are still there. I missed the Aussie's great show, but glad to see he made it through tonight.:)

BB was a bit boring tonight. One of the potty mouthed girls left tonight and James is still there. WHY IS THAT CREEPO JOSH STILL THERE!!! He thinks he owns the place. If they only knew how he's using them..

Later Couch Taters.:grouphug:

doydie 03-26-2008 11:18 PM

Speaking of DWTS, when Penn did his first dance, remember one of the very first moves. Whoever his partner was, she had him five down on the floor and slide through her legs. To me it reminded me of all the Shamus that you see at Sea world and they are doing their show and sliding up on the platform. There Penn was, he is a big guy, all dressed up in his black and white tux. Looked just like Shamu. Oh, I am bad.

DM 03-27-2008 09:56 AM

Me too, Sal~~ mad I missed AI. The Aussie sang We are the Champions and it was amazing and the rocker guy *name?*sang Billie Jean and WOW!!

Next week He77's Kitchen starts up and GUESS what NIGHT???

TUESDAY!!! Someone STOP ME!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!

Oh and on BB, I like James, but saw a side of Chelsia that I didn't like tonight. I think she was using James to stay in the game. Sheila?? Give me a barf bag!

My faves are James and Adam, at least this wk. :D

sugarboo 03-27-2008 10:37 AM

I thought Chelsea was trying to pull an "Evil ****" move....blew up in her face! Sheila makes me ill too DM!! Can't stand her!

On Biggetst Loser, Cocky Danny finally got the boot....what do they say "Pride comes before the fall?". I was SOOO proud of the women this week!!

EDIT: His name is blocked? ROFL!!!!!

Jappy 03-27-2008 07:11 PM

.

Tonight is the final of Celebrity Apprentice. Two hrs. 9-11

From the previews it looks like it is going to be one good show.

DM I am feeling like you about He??s kitchen. It looks like it is
going to start off with a big bang.

We are all addictted. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!

Jappy :D

doydie 03-27-2008 11:09 PM

Apprentice was a good one. Winner was what I predicted.

I got next weeks TV Guide yesterday and it was a two wek TV Guide. So week after next the two tribes merge on Survivor.

I think that's all i have tonight on all my reality shows. Oh, there have been some pretty low winnings on Wheel of fortune.

Jappy 03-28-2008 09:38 AM

It wasn't a surprise that Piers won on the Apprentice

The only thing that counted was that it went to a great charity
and that Trace's charity also made a lot of money.
That's what it is all about.

At least now we have a couple of days before we start with
next weeks shows. RESTTTTTTTTT
