I hear ya on that one, Jappy! I need to go to Reality Show's Annonymous. WHY ME?? WHY ME???

*ewww, I just sounded like Nancy Kerrigan, the ice skater*

Tuesdays are murder for me.

doydie 03-31-2008 12:46 PM

By going out of town for the next cople of days I'm going to miss AI, DWTS and TBL!!!! I'm going to have a lot of catching up on my DVR and won't be able to read any of this thread until I'm finished!!!!!

I did watch The Big Give last night. I hope the concept of 'paying it forward' catches on but it's always nice when you can use someelses money.

MSacorn 03-31-2008 01:02 PM

Hi Doydie
Can you record one or two of them while you're gone? Then you'd have something to looke forward too. I'm glad you will be able to get away.

Just be sure not to read this thread. I forget that and have spoiled the surprise for myself several times. When will I learn?

ALERT DM :Writting::Starvin:

HE??'S KITCHEN TONIGHT 9 PM also BB & DWTS

I didn't get into BB this year so bouncing between the two tonight
won't be that bad.

Are we all addicted ??????????????? Yessssssssssssss

Jappy :Head-Spin:

DM 04-01-2008 02:18 PM

Ah my lil Jappy is looking out for me. I called my DD and reminder her about H's Kitchen tonight too. That's one sexy chef.

I can't miss BB, so it's Roulette for me and my remote/VCR tonight.

I haven't been able to get into AI or DWTS's as much as I'd like to have this season, due to BB and TBL. Someone STOP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SallyC 04-01-2008 02:33 PM

I missed DWTS last night, because of The Green River Killer Movie. I'll watch to see who gets eliminated tonight.

I have to see if James finally met his maker and leaves BB tonight. Nat is feeling the power..

Ok what station is HK on???

Hep Me, Hep Me.

O well! They tell me to exercise and that is just what I
am doing. :Trapeze 2:

Jappy :Dancing-Chilli:

SallyC 04-01-2008 06:54 PM

I can't believe it...TBL, BB, HK and DWTS is all on at the same time tonight.. AI is on an hr earlier, sorta by itself, but NCIS is also on, but still reruns, I think.

Is that writers strike over yet?? This has been a strange TV season..

The strike has been over a few wks, Sal. I loved it!!! James won the POV for a 3rd wk. He is still my fave, as they are all ganging up on him and he is doing this on his own, w/no alliance. Joshua is a lil stinker, but funny!.

Watched TBL and am sick of Mark bawling. Even his DW said something about it on the phone when he talked to her. She told him to toughen up. Geesh! I wanted HIM to go home.

Didn't watch AI, but kept flipping. And, totally blew off DWTS's.

Taped H's Kitchen and Family Jewels.
My finger hurts too, Jappy!!! :D:D:D:D

Well, you wouldn't know it, by the crappy shows that are on and still lots of reruns..

Oh Yes, I'm rootin for James on BB. He's a survivor. I wouldn't miss Josh. He plays dirty.

AI was fantastic....Michael Johns was a hit again. He just keeps getting better. The cute guy with dreadlocks could be out this week and the girl who sang I will always love you, shouldn't have done it...she could be out and the country singer could be out?? Other than that everyone sang like a dream.:)

There was so much cussing on HK, that, I had a hard time following what was actually said, but it was funny. He may have a group of bad chefs this time, by what he says. We'll see??

Carry on, Junkies..LOL

Blondi 04-02-2008 04:18 PM

Hi... my name is Kim and I am a Reality Show Addict. I have been an addict since the very first Real World aired on MTV a bazillion years ago. It has been 18 hours since my last viewing and only 4 more hours until I indulge again. I need help. :p

I can't believe I haven't notice this thread before with all the reading (ummm... lurking) I do on this board. This thread has my name written all over it. I'm so glad to know I'm not alone in this sickness.

I accidentally got a BB spoiler by reading... I'll have to be careful! I wait until Sunday and watch Tuesday and Wednesday's episodes of BB and then watch the Sunday's episode so I can watch for 3 hours all together. I've gotten my DH addicted as well, for which he is not very happy, but just can't help himself.

Can't wait for the AI results show tonight.... and Survivor tomorrow, I'm almost giddy with anticipation! Yikes!

Jappy 04-02-2008 04:34 PM

How's the fingers today. Sally I completely agree with you about
AI.
DM I thought that HK was histerical. When he was on the bus
with all the so called chefs and listened to what they had to say about
him and themselves, it was so funny when he introduced himself at
HK restaurant. :holysheep:

I think this year is going to be one of the best for HK.

I am glad that AI is on at 9pm because at 8pm I love watching
wife swap.

Another night of our addiction. :D

Jappy :)

DM 04-02-2008 08:30 PM

I taped Wife Swap., Jappy as was watching BB. WOOHOO! No more Joshua. What a Jekyll and Hyde. Still rooting for James.

Am watching AI results right now and all I will say is Koala will be happy! I love the Dolly Parton theme this wk. She's so darn sweet.

Welcome Kim... We can always use the input of another junkie here.

Blondi 04-02-2008 10:21 PM

AI was good, but I cried through the end of it. The "Idol Gives Back" part really got to me. Still gonna watch BB on Sunday, even though I now know who got voted out! I'm dying to tell my DH but I'm keeping my mouth shut. Wife swap was interesting. I felt really bad for the child whose mother cared more about her bird. So sad!

I feel like I've found my long lost family in this thread...lol!:winky:

Blondi 04-02-2008 10:22 PM

Oh... and David Cook was definitely wearing an orange bracelet tonight!

Hi Kim
So glad you joined our little group of tv junkies. The more the merrier. I've got to ask, what does the orange bracelet signify?

doydie 04-02-2008 11:30 PM

Welcome Blondi! I can't believe I actually came to this thread tonight but it was the first one I opened. We left Monday afternoon and got back this afternoon. I went to bed early Sunday so I had shows taped from Sunday all the way through tonight. The DVR will only tape two shows at a time. So to catch up, tonight I taped one show and watched a previously taped show at the same time! I love that DVR. The cable guy explained that it had like 2 seperate hard drives in it. So tonight I watched three taped shows in a little over 2 hours. But I still have to watch DWTS, TBL and AI. Of course when I go to the AP news site I read every night, it tells me who goes home on AI and DWTS. So that ruined it a little bit for me.

Jappy 04-03-2008 09:18 AM

We made it through the first 3 days. Now tonight SURVIVOR

KIM what does the orange bracelet signify?

DM I agree with you Dolly Parton is so sweet. I have always loved
her music.

It was heart breaking to see the poor children in Africa. When you
see things like this you then realize how lucky we are, even though we are
figthing our war with our disease.

Jappy :grouphug:

DM 04-03-2008 09:21 AM

Amen to that Jappy!

Blondi 04-03-2008 12:25 PM

There was some discussion, I believe on this thread (although don't quote me on that, cog fog and all) about him wearing a red MS bracelet on Tuesday night. Orange is the new color for MS Awareness, and I paid attention last night, he was wearing an orange bracelet.

Can't wait for Survivor tonight... wasn't on last week so going through a bit of a withdrawal..lol.

Does anyone (I hate myself for admitting to this) besides me watch the Bachelor? Just curious.

SallyC 04-03-2008 12:39 PM

I'm sad about the little gal leaving on AI, but someone had to go.:(

Yeaaaaaa..Josh is gone from BB. :D

I haven't been keeping up with Survivor, but I will try again tonight.

I can't remember who left on DWTS??

Blondi 04-03-2008 12:57 PM

Steve Guttenburg.

I have watched the Bachelor since the first show. This year I got
started but my health was getting the best of me and just couldn't
stay up late to watch.

I really got a kick out of the one that showed the drunken girl
(can't remember her name) put her underwear in his jacket and how he
threw it when he realized what it was. I knew she was a goner. She was
also I felt missing a few marbles.

The British Guy seems to be a nice guy. Hope to catch up with the
show.

Jappy

Blondi 04-03-2008 04:38 PM

Yes, the one with the drunken girl and her panties was funny
I think during the rose ceremony she was passed out on the bed... she didn't get a rose... shocker!

I'm actually kinda bummed she didn't last, it would have been fun to watch that train wreck!

Thank you DM.:) Our newspapers gave Michael a good write up this week as well. They said the judges say that this was his best performance yet.

Unfortunately I'm unable to watch any of the videos clips on the AI web site, and I have tried. Not to worry. I'll just have to be content to see it on TV when he wins. :D

DM 04-03-2008 05:34 PM

I knew you'd be pleased Anne~ Your Aussie Dude is sounding great.

David Cook told Ryan he was taken by ambulance the night B4, due to HIGH blood pressure. He claimed he was ok now. I think he's got a good shot at winning.

Survivor tonight~~~

Kim" I have watched quite a few of the Bachelor Seasons, but just didn't want to get into it this yr. (too many other's to watch)

I wish they'd clone Tuesday night, so I can watch everything.

*pitching fit like my avatar*

SallyC 04-03-2008 08:03 PM

I watched survior tonight. I notice how everyone looked so unhealthy...almost sick like. I don't think they'e eating right.

I don't think I like Ozzie?? I won't say who left, for those of you who haven't yet seen it.

DM 04-03-2008 08:16 PM

I saw Survivor too, Sal. You're right~ they look so thin and unwell. And, they killed and ate a rat tonight. blech!!

They merge next week!

doydie 04-03-2008 11:50 PM

I'm catching up watching all the shows I missed while I was out of town. Unfortunately what I am watching are the one hour shows which are all the drama shows. I really like New Amsterdam and Eli Stone. Tomorrow my husband goes back to work and I have contlor over the TV and I'll try to catch up on DWTS, TBL and AI.

I did watch Survivor tonight. I still can't remmber tribe names. It's a bummer when one tribe keeps losing the immunity challenge. I was talking to my Mom on the phone and lost what happened that there didn't seem to be a reward challenge and the two people went to EI and had automatic immunity. I would hope that Alexis would surmise that since ozzy didn't do much to find the idol that he already has it. I think in next weeks episode Alexis and Amanda have a little cat fight.

Big Brother

Haven't been around much and really haven't had time or the inclination to become as obsessed with BB as I usually am. (I guess that's a GOOD thing!) Anyway, with an extra minute and a whim, I visited my favorite spoiler site today so for those of you who care and want to know, highlight the text below with your mouse/cursor. If you want to wait for the show to find out who the noms are, ignore this and skip, skip, skip to the next post! :D

Adam put Sheila and Sharon on the block.

OH BG!! I've missed your spoilers! Thanks alot for that one, I was worried about my fave. So, did you miss the episode that ED visited? That was good. :D

doydie 04-04-2008 11:38 PM

Today I got caught up on all my reality shows. My Mom is 83, a Southern Baptist preachers wife and addicted to American Idol!!!!! I know that if Dad were alive today that she would not be watching it!!! She is so funny. But she won't admit to anyone that she watches it. So she couldn't talk to me about it until I watched it today. So she had all this stuff pent up inside about Ramielle, Michael Jahn, David A and C and Jason. So today we were finally able to discuss the show. She is so funny.

I also watched TBL. The show is going to be very interesting next week when they don't have their trainers. But they won't have them at home. They have a brief description on their website about next weeks episode. America will vote on which one of the two people below the yellow line is able to be in the finale to compete for the $250 thou. The other person will be competing with all the other voted off contestants I guess. I think it is actually looking favorable for a female to win!

I did see it but honestly, I've kind of been half-watching. Highlight below if you want to see who won the veto -- the ceremony takes place today.

Ryan

DM 04-06-2008 02:24 PM

Thanks BG! Do you think they will back door anyone?

I'm afraid for James.

AZjanie 04-06-2008 05:56 PM

Thanks so much BJ; I have missed the spoilers too. Great to know what's going on!

Seems like all the reality shows I like are on at the same time so I record one and watch one flipping back and forth and still miss parts everyone is talking about the next day!!

Bearygood 04-06-2008 11:02 PM

Bb9

I don't know because I really haven't stayed tuned to the boards or to Showtime. I'm still wading through papers trying to uncover some things I need for my taxes so maybe I'l turn it on tonight. Here's one more veto spoiler (highlight only if you want to know) before I shut down here.

Looks like Ryan took Sheila off -- James and Sharon are now on the block.

doydie 04-06-2008 11:29 PM

Two shows I don't think we have talked about were on tonight, both on ABC. The Big Give, big tear jerker and Here comes the newlyweds. Both of them have been good shows, well for reality shows.

The big give is down to the last three, I don't know if they will finish with only two or three contestants. It's amazing how some people can get others to open up their check bools. I may want to but I can't.

Here come the newlyweds finished tonight. it was a good concept. I don't know who the host was, figure he was some stand up comedian who was out of a job. But they put the couples through challenges each week to see how they knew each other. And for each correct answer anyone gave, the amount of the cash winnings was increased. Original winnings was $250,000 and the end total was $465,000. Like most other reality shows, it ended up the people that you voted off were the ones that voted for the winner. In tonights episode, the last two couples went through 3 different challenges and the winner of each got an envelope that they couldn't open until the actual voting.

So it happens that the envelopes contained a blank card that the owner of the envelope could write down a previous contestants name and that contestants vote would not be counted. So the couple that had won all these envelopes gave the cards back all blank saying that they trusted the votes as they were. if they were voted off, then so be it. But they ended up being the winners. It was kind of neat how they could have really changed the vote but left it alone.

Oh, I also watched the excibition skate at the figure skating world champoinships.

DM 04-07-2008 07:59 AM

OH NO!! Tuesday is coming up and I CAIN'T watch 5 shows at once.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

DM 04-07-2008 08:01 AM

Thanks BG! I was afraid my fave would get back doored. I really am starting to like Adam more. His nomination speech was the best I have heard. And, he's got a good heart. So, if James can't win, I'm rooting for Adam. I don't like Ryan. He's sneaky!

Blondi 04-07-2008 11:21 AM

Adam is a hoot! I'm rooting for him. We had company drop by while BB was on last night (how dare they!) so we missed a lot, but laughed hysterically over all the crying. I have never seen so many men cry before. We're going to watch it again tonight to make sure we didn't miss anything important.
