Default I'm back...

It's only been 22 centuries since I've come here but I guess it might be time to check in.

I retired from NASA almost 2 years ago. Mary and I left Houston and now live on the Cumberland plateau in east central Tennessee. I'm still alive (duh...) but it has been somewhat of a challenge.

Mary did a full marathon in September. I did a half marathon. These are not running things. These are trail hikes and ya got a month to complete them, but I apparently can still walk. Still volunteering for MS150 events, but here in TN, the only event is the "Jack and back" ride, which conveniently the mid-point of the event is at the Jack Daniels distillery (the wettest dry county in the country).

Anybody remember me?

Tom

I certainly do remember you, Tom! It's so nice to hear from members who've been busy living their lives! I'm jealous that ya'll get to live in TN....that is a beautiful state. I hope you'll come back more often to check in.

Guess what? I'm a Grandma now!!

I remember you too Tom! I used to live in Illinois, and I now live in the Austin, Texas area. Glad to hear from you.

Aw Tom, who could forget you?

You seem to be thriving in TN--do you like it there? How is everything?

Of course I remember you! I think about you a lot. I happen to often be under the ISS's flight path. And then there's the times I've spent with you and your lovely wife. Kemah was such fun!

Glad you can still walk. Me too! Nothing as organized as you, but I still hike the woods.

So good to hear from you.

Tom, so nice to see you again. I've been missing myself for awhile. Welcome back to both of us.

Wow. I'm really bad about stopping by here...

Recovering from a week long stay in the hospital for pneumonia. It sucks...

2 inches of snow on the ground this morning. Only up here on the plateau. I don't think Knoxville got any snow down in the valley.

We're splitting our time between Michigan, Tennessee, and Florida. This has been a strange winter.

I'll stop being a stranger. At least until the spring yard work needs to get done.

So sorry to hear you've been ailing...hope you feel better real soon.

You are spreading yourself all over the US!! Wow!

It's been a crazy winter up here in northern IL...not much snow, not much cold-except now we are supposed to get some nasty ice/snow overnight. Hope that this is just a glitch and spring keeps pushing towards us!

Yeah I remember you, I haven't been here for a few years myself. I moved also, Boynton Beach. Yeah it's hot, but only if you go outside in the Summer.
