I don't know how I missed this thread Greta. I am so sorry to hear about Luke's news.
He sounds like he is comfortable right now and I hope the margins come back clear. I hope YOU are doing ok. Hugs to you and a treat and a pat for Luke. Please let us know how it goes.

Oh Greta, I'm so sorry about Luke! My sister just found a large lump on her baby, Saint. He's an 8 yr old Weimeraner (sp). That is pretty old for his breed. She has to take him to the vet yet. I really don't know how she's going to handle this. She doesn't have any kids and he is her oldest 'son'. I'm hoping for the best. Big ((HUGS)) for you & Luke. Our pets really are a part of the family.

Thanks Joelle!
Here's to hoping your sister's dog's lump is nothing. Vet just checked Chipper for a lump last week and it's just a fatty lipoma that doesn't need to come off. I'll keep my fingers crossed! |

Hi Greta,
I just read the whole thread and I'm glad Luke is feeling better. I hope that what they did will give him a new lease on life, and to feel good enough that the cancer goes into a long remission. The poor little guy sounds so sweet. I'm sure your love is what keeps him going.
