OMG you should see my house! Seriously though I've been blessed to have been in good health for the last 3 years so I'm trying to make hay while the sun is shining. It ain't pretty most days though, lol.

Guess I'm derailing this thread even more!
TO CURIOUS: THANKS for the info about recumbant bikes and working the hip flexors. I have a recumbant bike that has been in dry-dock in the living room for...oh like 3 years now. My hips and knees hurt so bad after using it. With your tid-bit of info I think I will try it again. TO CHRIS: I had similar experiences with fellow Cub Scout leaders. They felt so uncomfortable around me when they learned I had MS. BUT I had to let the cat-out-of-bag with them...they started thinking I was drunk. Eventually everyone must have went off and researched on their own because now it's all good. As for my husband's work place knowing, he told his bosses right away. He wanted everything squared away just in case I became ill and he needed time off with no notice. I guess they had time to learn more too, because there has never been an awkward moment for us around them. As others have said, I'd give this lady another chance. Try to explain your awkwardness in disclosing that you have MS. Either she'll come around or she won't(which would be her loss).

I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. No, you are not being overly sensitive.

Good on you. I think it's great. Who really cares what your house looks like right now? Get your studies finished and then you can worry about your house!

Let me know how your exercise program goes, and I'll let you know when I start doing more than just the treadmill.

Thank you. I feel better about things as the day has worn on, and as all of you have given me so much support. I am ever so grateful for all of you!

Chris, you are right to feel the way you do. You probably gave her a 'a look at what she could be dealing with' , or maybe she is and has something wrong herself that she hides with her running around accomplishing uh, nothing?
I'd give her another chance, I'm a 3 striker, then the offender is cut out forever. My husband has FMLA papers for me at work, they all know and it's better for us that way. Take care, glad to hear you're feeling better, when I get the 'leper' treatment, I give my best smile and nod, then go home and cry - (hate the headaches though ) get back on my broken down horse and back to abi-normal.
