Oh, this is so totally his fault. The heat, the gender of the children, you name it. I love him, too, but someone has to pay.

I thought I had a bad day, I only had mac & cheese all over the living room floor and than Tide powder ALL over my boys room.

I do hope you get some heat tonight.
I'm glad I could make someone feel better.

It makes me feel better, in general, to be able to come on here and get this out before I lost my mind.

We ARE related, because our kids are cousins.

Did I tell you about the time ds...

was running up the stairs, wonked the wall with his head and took out a 4x4 area of plaster? Uh huh. That's why it's drywall up the stairs and in the hall.

Or how about when he and Cousin lil Mike poured oil in Uncle big Mike's brandy new riding mower's gas tank?

Or how about when they were sposed to be watching lil Randy, and they let him drive the 4 wheeler into THE POND?

Bad seeds, all of em. And yet it's against the law to put em in cages.

At 2, he set his baby blocks on fire in the Kerosun heater.

At 7, he tried to set the sand box on fire - gas in a pop can.

At 8, he set a fire in his trash can in his bedroom.

This is why dh keeps the heat on, you let ds get cold, it gets dangerous.

I could send him over, then at least your house would be warm. j/k

I was only kidding with you. I have had days you wouldn't even believe.

Lets see what about the day that the baby at the time (#5) was about 6 months old and his big brothers wanted to paint, with the paint for the walls (it was bright blue BTW). The bigger boys (3, 4 & 5) open the can of paint with a screw driver and let the baby get it, well the boys didn't get around to painting because the baby put the screw driver in the paint can. I hear laughing going on (for some reason when you have small children that is NEVER a good thing) so I go see what they are doing and I walk in to see the baby dipping the screw driver in the paint can and than waving the screw driver around slinging paint every where. There was blue paint all over the baby, all over the floor (tan carpet), all over the wall behind him (white wall) and all over the other boys.
To this day I still don't understand how I got that room and those boys all clean.

OK, now do you really feel better? Oh and at the time I had a 2 year old girl to deal with and I was pregnant with #6.

[Hello Holly,

Clearly your son is from his fathers side of the family!

Laugh hysterically first because that will lead to crying, which will lead to more laughter and hopefully no more crying (although there is nothing wrong with crying!).

You can go down to a gas station and get 5 gallons of #1 diesel fuel to put in the fuel tank and that should be enough to get you through to tomorrow. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska where it has been -40 to -70 degrees F. for the past 10 days, so I understand the importance of keeping enough fuel on hand!

Good luck with the rest of your "problems".

Dave
