It is supposed to be 65 degrees here today - I doubt it will get that high. They are always so optimistic with the high temps....

I want to move to the Pacific Northwest. I need to be in a climate where it stays colder longer than it stays warm. The heat kills me. I'd love to move to Alaska. Now, before everyone who actually lives in Alaska asks me if I am crazy, I prefer the cold weather. I prefer cloudy, cold weather to sunny, hot weather. I've always been like this - it's just with adding MS to the mix I am even more like this than I ever was before!

I love the snow, rain, wind and cold! A few sunny days thrown in are fine - but you can keep the heat.

Gonna move north-west one day. Definitely gonna move.

Well, except for the rain defecit... ditto what Moose said, including moving NW someday, hopefully next summer.

We're (GA) still way behind on rainfall and we added another rain barrel to our collection this weekend, just in time for some major storms to go by.

36 tornados in the South Sunday evening...going to be a wild one this year.

Sure it will. We get 5 days off for good behavior in July.

Default Mid 60's

It should be in the mid 60's this week, yesterday was in the 70's partly cloudy and we had the front door open till dinnertime when the temps started to drop. We're expecting rain the next three days, its very overcast right now.

I'd like to go to Petsmart and get the furkids groomed, toenails at the very least, they are getting so long, and they both think my legs are scratching posts (maybe I should get them one).

DH is napping again, I really hate to disturb him to go into town, but he hates staying home alone....and he is just getting over a bad case of bronchitis.

Got my yard work done yesterday, yard hasn't looked this good in almost a year!

Hey Kelly... I'm with YOU ... I can't handle the heat ... not sure how to deal with this next summer - last summer I was a basket-case .. but even the cold is refreshing for me .. even my 'burning' sensation is minimal!

all I need is central air .. and I'm not an a/c person - I love fresh air .. .so, how are we going to make this work???

Default Spring in Alaska

It's been like 'Break-Up' around here for the last few days. All the snow is melting! I just came in from outside where the streets are flooding, took a shovel and removed the big ice patches from the drive-way and the sun is shining bright and can actually feel the warmth.

This weather is coming YOUR way!! Glad I have good news for a change!

Back to the books....
