Default board buddy meetup

Got to have Dinner with Nurse Nancy last week when I was in her neck of the woods for a meeting. What a fun time! Getting together with her is like hanging out with an old friend.

I'd like to pass along a dieting trick we learned during dinner. Eat using chopsticks....all the time. It really slows you down (especially when you are as bad at using them as we are!)

Oooh I love board buddy meetings. It's been a long time since I've done that. Too bad you didn't have a meeting in Pittsburgh.

Oh and chop sticks would definitely slow me down - to the point of probably not eating much at all!! I'm just not that coordinated.

LOL Glad you had a great time! Chop sticks huh? Good idea. I wonder if Jim could pull that off with me? No, he'd just start eating with his hands! lol

Chopsticks? I don't like that song, I can see how it would make you lose your appetite.

Yeah, where are the pics????

Glad you two had a visit, it's so fun to meet board buds!

LOL. Ok, I got a visual of myself trying to use chopsticks when my tremors are acting up. Rice would be everywhere but my mouth.

I think I would be like Jim, Sandy, and use my hands. LOL.

Weightloss, I would think so as you do eat slower with chopsticks. And, 1 hour in to the meal you are too tired to finish it.

precisely! Until I master them, I may actually slow down enough to actually tell when I'm full before I've eaten too much!!

My board buddy meetups are going to be few and far between in a few more months. Unless that is....you want to meetup in Italy

No pics. That would require advance planning, and I'm afraid that I called NN at the last minute (as usual). I'm rotten when it comes to stuff like that. We looked fabulous. Ok - she looked fabulous. I looked like I had just gotten off a plane that I'd been sitting on for 9 hours (because I did!!)

I admit, we both gave up on the chopsticks, but I did actually get her to try a piece of sushi this time. It was a California roll, but it did have some fish eggs. She very bravely ate a piece and then generously left the rest for me

AMN, I'm thinking it was less from PLAYING chopsticks to actually holding the piano that slowed them down.

No pics? I seem to remember a fascinating portrait of you on another forum that had a cartoon type head drawn over a body when you and another board buddy had gotten together.

Oh, and if you want a vistor in Italy for a board buddy visit, count me in!

Greta -

Pics???????????

They're mandatory!

Unless you're a certain person from out west who accidentally deleted the pics from her camera after a certain Houston get-together...

Or a person who can't remember exactly in what time zone she's arriving for a buddy meetup....
