Poor DM! Try not to worry, as the others said, maybe they just fit you in since they had a cancellation? It may not be an urgent matter at all, but I really understand your worry anyway. (I can be a worrier too, you know.)

I hope it's not too serious and they can fix you up with minor treatment and inconvenience. Maybe the doctor is planning on giving you a steroid shot for the pain? I'll be thinking of you!

BTW, they now have a calcium/bone builder med in a nasal mist, that's what I'm taking. It's called Fortical, and so far, so good!

Awwww, Princess, I hate when your back is hurting. Good luck
with your appointment. I'll pray that something very good comes
from it.

Deep breath....I'm with you.. We all are..

Oh leetle DM,

NEVER fret over whether you should post about anything here! We are your friends (even if we do pick on you!) and we are here to listen!

Go to your appointment and then come back and let us know what the doc has to say. Chances are you are just lucky because there was an opening, as others have stated.

You sound like you have LOT on your plate right now, and letting more negativity enter will NOT help.

Let us know how it goes and know you are in our prayers, as are your family members who are going through their own troubles.

((((Princess)))) I am so sorry that you are having to deal with so much.

It's so easy to give advice when its not you. I know its hard but try not to worry. That only causes more problems.

Take a deep breath and try to relax. I am thankful that they are able to get you in so quickly.

Prayers are being said for you Please keep us posted because I too am a worry wart

Well I'm not going to tell you not to worry.....cause you are gonna anyway
But try to relax some...enjoy getting your hair did! I know it has been a rough year for you to say the least and hopefully this spine specialist (which I think was a brilliant move on your part) wil give you some better answers, I think if it were something too terrible they would have said you need to come in later today or first thing in the morning...so maybe they just had an opening, or the person who scheduled you felt bad for you....it does happen occasionally LOL! No matter what I have my fingers crossed for you and am sending up those prayers!

Thank you my buddies ole pals!!

I cancelled my hair appt, so be glad that you can't see me. Just didn't think I could drive one way to look purty and then 90 mins another way for the disc.

I think my worrying boils down to the fact that the Spine Spec asst told me when I called last wk that he would not even set an appt up for me, UNTIL he had every report in his hands to see the whole pic.

At this point, he only has the radiologists report from the MRI. The actual MRI is enroute and I am picking up the back Xray today.

That's what threw me into a tizzy! I am nervous about my spine area anyway, as I have full blown Osteoporosis in it. OK, deep breath......

Didn't work, I'm still nervous....

Guess I'd better think about getting out the door, so I can come back in it.

This is for you all....

I really APPRECIATE all the kind words....

Heart

hey sweets...he may not have the actual papers in his hands...but he may have gotten a phone call or an email. plus..if his scheduled allowed for the appointment...better to be fit in even if he doesn't have all the info.

i have severe back problems. so i understand being nervous. pain is pain..but for me...the bone pain hits me worse. tends to radiate to all the bones. like hitting a tuning fork....

mega hugs

i think cutting back on the driving is a good thing.

Your'e so right Yappy! My lower back pain has radiated straight up to the middle of my back and also down my R leg.... I had a massage yest and wouldn't let her touch anything beyond the middle of back. But, she gave me a great scalp, neck shoulder etc. massage...

I felt so stressfree. until I got home and got that call. How can you change from carefree to a wreck in such a short time??? Being a DM, I guess.
