Trophy A video worth watching

A friend sent me this video and I have to tell you it is one that I will keep and watch again. It is a little over 11 minutes long but there is such a great lesson to be learned. If you are like me you will be crying at the end. When all is quiet and you have a little free time to yourself, watch this and really listen to what the man is saying.

I had this emailed to me, too. It's a great video and well worth the 10 or 11 minutes it takes to watch it. Great message - and a lot to think about.

I'm really glad y'all liked this video. It made me think so much of my dad. He passed away in Nov. 2005 from pancreatic cancer. I was living with my parents at the time, helping my mom take care of him. The last time we brought him home from the hospital the ambulance guys couldn't believe that my dad was coming home to die. He was laughing and telling jokes the whole time, up until the night before he died he was talking and happy. He knew he was dying and he was ready for it. The night before he passed away he started praying and singing, he did this for almost 2 hours, outloud, naming everyone he could think of...it was the most peaceful thing to experience. He slowly stopped praying and went to sleep, the next morning while holding my hand he took his last breath. I learned a lot during that time and although it was difficult I am so honored to have been a part of his passing. We never know how or when we will be called by God and I think it is so important for all of us to live life to the fullest and to understand that the very most important things in life aren't what we can buy with money, things are just things, it's what's in our hearts and souls that truly matter.

*stepping down off my soapbox now* hehehee
