Aw, Susan, I am sorry you have been so ill. I hate when bad things happen to good people.

Please just take it easy for a day or two. Have some tea and toast and I don't know why but I love root beer when I have been sick.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Thank you all. I laid down this morning for what I had planned on being just a little nap but wow! didn't even move until dh called to tell me he was on his way home from work. Wish I could sleep that good all the time! I am feeling a little better, stomach still feels kinda yucky though and my legs are giving me fits, balance, well I might as well be drunk! lol I'm really glad I decided not to try the concert tonight, it is cold, rainy and just plain crappy here. How about the snow in Dallas? Crazy weather huh?

Y'all have a good night, I'm gonna lurk while flipping between Lost and the Rockets game.

late december, back in '63...

It sounds like you made the right choice, Suz. But, I've just got to know, which concert???

Dh's boss gave us tickets to the Houston rodeo then the Alan Jackson concert afterwards.....guess not going was a blessing in disguise cause we were having a thunderstorm and our electricity went out for a few minutes...dunno what happened but apparently the power surge or whatever blew the compressor in our fridge....good thing we were home...we now have a kitchen full of coolers packed with food!

I'm feeling better, thanks. We called the landlord last night and they said a repairman would be out first thing this morning....well I'm waiting...thankfully I hadn't gone shopping in a while so the fridge wasn't stocked, but still got a few big coolers packed. I knew there was a reason I'd been putting off going to the store!
