Oh, nuts, Chris. I'm sorry this is beating you up like this. I do understand what you're talking about and can really empathize with all of it (except the awful husband who takes you to a lovely B&B just to rest).

I sure hope this rest time will give you back some of your energy.

I hope your wkend away is just what the Dr ordered, Chris. If I find any extra energy, I'll send it your way. I think this Winter has been the worst ever.

Have a good, restful wkend and hope you feel better soon.

Chris I am so sorry that you are still sick. Was wondering
where you were.

I caught pneumonia in 1969 it then became double pneumonia.

I was in the hospital for 1 1/2 months. That was the begining of
Dec. when I came home. They gave me the "You are cured Feb. 1970"

I understand how you are feeling. I had the bacterial infection. They
couldn't figure out what kind. Just new it was bacterial and where I
contacted it was a ?????

Did they say you have viral or bac.?

Keep you in my prayers
Jappy

Thank you, Cindy. We had a lovely weekend. As it turned out, Michael surprised me and booked us at a very lovely Ritz-Carlton (he had a bunch of points from his credit card), in Midtown Atlanta. We had a suite in what they call the "Club Floor". I only left the room for dinner once, and once to go have a facial and a massage. I felt like I had died and gone to Heaven. The weather here this weekend was cold and rainy, so it was the perfect weekend to stay in bed and relax. There was a wedding at the hotel, and there were a few couples (relatives of the brides) from a town in Michigan, so I thought of you. I don't know if it's close to you, but they were from a town called "GRAND BLANC". They called home on Saturday afternoon and told us it had snowed!

I feel much more revived, and I still have tomorrow off, so I'm lazing around a bit until tomorrow to do the laundry, while Michael is off doing some grocery shopping. I'm going to try it for round 2 this week. The weather is supposed to improve as the week wears on, and I hope my energy levels will too.

Thanks for your thoughts, MaryAnn, Joyce, and Cindy. They are much appreciated.

All the best,
Chris

I would have asked, but I know you don't like to leave your home. We had plenty of room. I would love to spend a weekend with you someday!

You are so sweet, thank you and yes, you're right, I wouldn't have left my comfort zone.

Wow, what a perfect weekend for you! How nice of him, you should keep him for sure.

Grand Blanc is a little over an hour inland from here, it's a fairly small town and I haven't spent a lot of time there. I think they have a gas station.
