It's a gorgeous day today - bright and sunny and high's in the 60's. At least they have good weather to clean up the millions of dollars worth of damage in the city.

I'm not sure if the national news has broadcast any pictures of the downtown Atlanta area but it looks like a bomb went off.

As Kelly has stated it is a beautiful day here. It is astounding how one day the weather can completely demolish a city, and the next day the sun is out, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are beginning to bloom.

I just spent about an hour outside on the porch with Michael, looking into our yard, and we are amased that we didn't sustain any damage. The owners of the home we are leasing are sending over someone to climb onto the roof this week to check and see if we have lost any shingles. (This house has a very high pitched roof with many gables)

Unfortunately, there were 2 confirmed deaths from yesterday's tornados. Thank you all for thinking of us here, and for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Also that everyone else that we know here,who was affected
by the storms,they are with us.

It hurts to see beautiful materialistic things destroyed but, we
can replace them. Lives we cannot.
