Had leftover ham for dinner. I worked today until 2 and when I came home I sat down and fell asleep. Never made it to MIL's.
But I was sent home a nice plate of food. Ham, deviled eggs, cauloiflower in cheese sauce and assorted other goodies. I may have to do this again. No muss, no fuss and a full belly!

Well it looks like ham and scalloped potatoes was on several homes menus. Ours here. We added my orange jello salad (which I am beginning to dislike but everyone else loves it), grean beans and rolls. You can tell we all have a sweet toothe because we had cherry delight, pumpmki pie, french silk chocolate pie, pecan pie apple struedel and several kinds of ice cream. The family is small at Easter, just the ones that live here in town except my SIL in Iraq.

I'll have to tell my sister that mac and cheese is part of this traditional meal. She makes the best.

We had our traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner today. I was just a little bit behind all this week.

Corned beef cooked in Guiness
Colcannon
Green Beans
Deviled Eggs and
Soda Bread with raisins

And Kay in the Jungle - could I please have the Bollo recipe too?

Went to my in-law's yesterday for dinner.

We had a boneless ham with a sugar glaze
Easter bread, which melts in your mouth when fresh from the oven
Scalloped potatoes
Yams
Green bean casserole
califlower in cheese
pickled eggs

leftover pasta and salad. How sad is that?! DH and I worked on the house all day and reheating was a better option than cooking!

Still, it beats last year when the dog ate both the rack and lamb and the turkey breast. (We ate Chinese takeout instead!)

It was just Jim, me and the boys. We had baked spiral ham, sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, fried veggies and oven rolls. For dessert we had razzleberry pie and peach cobbler. It was a good day.

Elizabeth (5) and I ate at my ex-MIL's along with ex-niece and nephews. Patrick (23) will be leaving for Iraq next week. We ate ham, mashed potatoes, dinner salads, wheat rolls, creamy corn casserole, and a fluffy strawberry pie for dessert. Oh, and A LOT of CHOCOLATE!!

Went to my DD for Easter. She had about 35 people. She set up the
food buffet style. She cooked, I cooked and everyone that came brought
something. The List

Baked Ham
Baked Sweet Potato Souffle
Chicken breast stuffed with gorgonzola cheese
4 veggies baked in cream sauce
Fried Fish ( Talipia) & tartar sauce
Navy Bean Soup
Cole Slaw
Seafood salad
Baked Rice dish with sausage

Appys were Grapes, Cheese, kelbasi, crackers, smoked trout dip deviled eggs

Desserts Apple Pie, Cherry pie, blueberry pie, Bunny rabbit cake,
Black Forest Cake, Panatonne (Italian Fruit Cake)
Cheese Bobka (Polish) Crusiki (Polish deep fried treats)
Chocalate Cake, White Cream filled Cake

This is what is great when you have everyone bring something
different.

It was a good day except for the cold weather.
