Oh Congrats!! My Grandmother had Lyme years ago, all better now and you'd never know she went thru it. They found it right away tho. So sorry you had to go thru all this before figuring it out!

Please do come visit and say hi now and again!!

Glad they tested you for this finally. Glad to hear it's not MS, and hope your new treatments go well. Don't be a stranger.

I hope not! Maybe she is off in Lyme land searching for clues and answers.

Gigi, best of luck to you and please don't be a stranger.

Did I ever tell you that when Jim and I lived in Germany our oldest son spoke German first. For some reason he called his dad Gigi rather than dada or daddy. To this day we don't know if that is an endearment term in Germany or what. He called Jim Gigi until he was about 5.

Gigi.

This is a good reminder for others to consider getting tested by a reliable method, particularly if they do not have O-bands.

Good luck, and all the best!

Cherie

GiGi, don't mean to be 'Debbie Downer' here, but wanted to let you know, it's possible to have *both* Lyme and MS at the same time.

in my "rule out" phase of getting a diagnosis, I was tested for Lyme disease, and showed positive.

but I later ended up being diagnosed with MS, as well.

Hey Cayo,

I know. My ecstasy has been tempered just a bit. I'm staying positive and until I'm told differently I'm going with Lyme only. DH is afraid I'm getting hopes up too high. I'll have to wait and see.
