I went fishing with a couple guys I met on-line last year. One from Ontario Canada, one from Dayton Ohio, had a great time, good people! You can meet good people anywhere, but also some morons.

Sounds like that saying "The more I get to know people, the more I like my dog"..

FFM - Going down memory lane here . . .

I was at the grocery store after work and as I was putting my groceries in my car this guy comes up to me and starts spilling his life story. He was a pro baseball player that retired and had just moved to town and was doing something (can't remember) with youths and sports. He asked me for my phone number and I told him no, I wasn't going to give it to him as I didn't even know him at all. Being the clever one he said, "well, how am I going to get to know you when you won't give me your phone number so I can take you out and get to know you." LOL. By this time I was getting in my car and I told him if he really wanted to get to know me he would figure out another way.

Guess the challenge was too great for him as even though I still see him around he has never approached me again. Professional sports players are used to women falling all over them. (His story did pan out as my brother did some checking on him).

Default Guess I should make this perfectly clear!!

Oh My Goodness!!

It was so funny because this just happened last week in Walmart. The attendant had both mens and womens restrooms closed for cleaning so there was an older couple in front of us.

I jokingly said "come here often"? and the lady said "not too often just to sit a spell". We struck up a conversation and I found out she is from my hometown in Iowa!!

When Bill came out he was all excited to meet someone from Iowa and the guy had gone to the same school as he.

No; we don't hang out in bathrooms (welll.....Bill does sometimes) tee!! hee!!
