Damn, damn, damn! I'll stomp my feet for you too (it helps the restless legs too). When is this disease going to be understood and cured!

Leave the young ones alone! It breaks my heart!

OK, I'll stop shouting now!

Hugs to you Cindy!

Cindy, I am so very sorry. I'm just as mad as you are at this thing. It is 100% the worse thing that ever happened to me. I would never wish this on anyone. I have one who hurt me and left me for dead at 18 on the side of the road. He was never identified, but I would not even wish this on him. That is saying a lot. The dif. as I see it, he left me with a life I could regain in full. MS has not and just keeps taking.

I'm like Erin - I can't believe it. I want to know who I poed in a past life so bad or what I have done so terrible in this one. Maybe even what lesson I am to learn. Ok, I give up - I will learn my lesson, I will give up anything but please take this thing away.

This does not run in my family so my guess is my triger for it was mono in 1995. Studies, while not proven, seem to support such. A nuero I saw told me "something is going on out there. I am seeing more and more of this each day". I think the 400,000 in the US quoted as having this is wrong. If 400,000 is true then why do I do I met someone who has a friend, rel... with it?

Ok this my rant for the moment - I hope it may help a tiny bit.

My friends daughter was just dx'd with PPMS and she has two young girls.

That is so awful when a young person has to deal with this and so much more difficult when there are children involved.

My family Doctors 31 year old daughter had a very agressive form of the disease and she died of pneumonia leaving three young children and her husband who adored her and kept her home to care for her.

It seems there are so many diagnosed and I wonder if researchers are any closer to an answer.

I'm so sorry about this Cindy. I hate this disease also. I have one relative (that's documented) with MS and she's so bad it's depressing. She can't even carry on a phone conversation because she gets so weak. What is it with it anyway, why so prevalent?

Cindy
Spout off all you want. Wow so many people in your circle. I only know one person my cousins ex-wife, we still email, but she's gotten sicker quicker then I.

I'm horrified that it seems to be more frequently occurring. It was 400,000 when I was dx'ed 11 yrs ago. And back then I never heard anything about it. Now it's in the news alot. And that means someone's lying to us all.

Just remember you always have us, in good times and bad. We are all in this together. Still hoping for a miracle.

Thank you. It helps.
Bless your heart... I am only dealing with me. And there you are... feeling the burden of so many. It just isn't fair. I pray for the strength it must take for you. But, as hard as you try, it is impossible to stay positive all the time. Sometimes you just need to let your guard down. That is what we are here for.
