a friendly reminder:
this situation did not happen on the forum here at neurotalk. disussing the situation is fine, but out of respect for the other board, we need to not mention them or the person specifially or references to what was posted there. we have many members who enjoy posting on many forums. we don't want anyone to feel that a board or it's members are being picked on.

If we are aware that this "person" who is on another board has shown this pattern of behavior before, then we should also be aware that her disability due to progessive MS is advancing quickly. The mind at this stage is difficult to deal with, reason almost impossible. When you've lost so much in the use of your body and then have to make such hard life altering decisions as to whether to leave your entirer life and start everything over or remain in the situation, the unknown becomes more daunting. We must realize that this decision is difficult even for a healthy person never mind a person struggling with rapidly advancing MS. Please bare this in mind.
I don't feel dupped or sucked into her cycle when she repeats her pattern, I am fully aware of what is happening. I can see how other's not aware of the pattern my feel "used" or hurt, so if you understand and still choose to help then you must not expect the outcome to be what you would do. It might take 50 more of her of her threads before she decides to make that giant leap!...Does the average abused person leave the first time abuse occures?
