Default Kid Rock pics!!!!!!

Before I post pictures I have to tell you what happened at the concert. We were escorted into the lounge where our seats were. Apparently some group had reserved a wheelchair section and the manager thought we were part of that group without asking our name. So, we are seated at the section and settling in.

This woman comes up and asks us who we are and said she reserved this spot. I said yes, it's for wheelchair users. She proceeded to tell me she called and set that space up for her and her friends but we could stay there if we needed to. This was all said in a very sarcastic tone of voice. Well, she kept on and on and I told her that the manager placed us there and she said she just spoke to the manager. I said we did too and she started in again with a sarcastic tone and threw her purse on the table. Well, at this point I knew things were not going to go well and I'll be darned if I was going to sit with these obnoxious people. I got up and told her I was going to speak with the manager.

See, while she was a total pain in the ****, if she did reserve the spot I needed to know that and get the manager to place us somewhere else. I have to admit I was surprised at how she acted considering her "friend" was in a wheelchair and she had absolutely no compassion for Jim in one. Apparently after I left Jim and the boys there she started saying how sorry she was and she didn't mean to come off so rude. Jim said she kept going on and on about reserving the spot while I was gone and he'd had enough and left with the boys to find me.

Anyway, the manager was so nice and said how sorry they were that they placed us in the wrong spot. They asked if we reserved a spot and I said no, I didn't know we could. Next thing I know we are escorted to our own private suite for just the four of us. Not only did we have our own private suite right across from that woman, might I add, but we also were given full privileges to any and all food and drink we could fill up with. FREE.

This is an pure example of remaining calm and friendly in face of adversity. I don't think I need to tell you that I waved at the woman and her friends once we were seated. Oh and the manager said he was going back to speak with this woman who was so cold and ruthless to another patron of his.

So, three six packs of beer, one six pack of soda, platter of fruit and basket of mustard pretzels later, we were settled into our private section and ready to begin the show. Oh, did I mention we had our own personal waiter?

Ok, so the show begins...

Oh my gosh Sandy, what an ordeal, but it turned out so well!! I'm so glad you waved to the woman and her friends so she could see where you were all seated!!! I'm not all that familiar with Kid Rock, but I can imagine this made the show extra enjoyable for all of you! And Happy Anniversary too!
