I did think it was kinda funny. I guess that we are all pretty tired of the political stuff right now. I just posted a thread about how I have turned off the TV, and picked up books because I cant take it anymore.

My hubby gets upset because he is a Marine type dude, who is always saying (picture me in my best mocking voice please.) that no matter what this man has done, he is our president and deserves our respect and loyalty. *blech!*

With Hillary, and Obama, and McCain (notice I didnt leave anyone out) on every channel, and so many screaming about this one is a a cry baby, and that one is a bully. I just cant take it anymore! I am rubbed raw from seeing signs littering every street corner, and news programs have forgotten to tell us about train wrecks and earthquakes so we can hear about someone candidates dog getting a hair cut. I am just exhausted by all of it.

I dont for one minute believe that you were trying to be mean, or mean spirited. I just think the timing was a bit off.

Batman, I almost took that part out, because I didn't think it was funny and thought it came close to bashing....I wish I had, now....and the part about the Airport BR, too (poor taste) Other than that, I think, even GWB would have laughed.
