Most people HATE change. If this condition you have is causing your husband to have to adapt in any way . . . it may be this is his underlying resistance.

Does he have to hear about it often, ie. "I can't go there because ...", "you can't wear that, because ....", "we have to clean this, because ...". If this is inconveniencing him in ANY way, he may use the reasoning of "no test to prove it" in order to avoid what needs to get done.

We have had to change a LOT, all of us.
What started the fight was me bring it up again, and I told him in consumes 100% of my day, everything I eat, drink, touch & breath and so he was lucky that he only had to listen to be a few hours a day about it.

I feel for you Julie. My dh has been a absolute jerk lately. I know he's on steroids, I know he's just been dx with Crohn's, I know how many bowel movement's he has and when he has them, Argh!! I just wish he could suck it up and 'take it like a WOMAN' , LOL, like I do teehee. Keep your sense of humor and if he doesn't want to hear your problems, don't talk to him about them for a couple of days. Just come here and tell us Men, grrrr!! (If Frank or Moose are reading this, of course I'm not including you )

sounds like both of you are frustrated, tired, and worn down. its VERY hard to keep giving from an empty cup. I am surprised with PCOS that you had 7 babies! Way to go!

Please, take some personal time to refill that cup, and help him find a way to refill his own cup. Stop giving from an empty space. if that means hiring a sitter, and going to a motel to watch the sunset or a car ride till the sun rises, then that is what you do.

You have been very strong throughout all of the diagnostic tests that you have been through, and the many ER runs I have read about. You FINALLY have some very real tangable answers. Your little family is just exhausted from the struggle to get you to a place of answers.

Take some time to breathe, soak in a tub, walk on the beach, pray, snuggle, giggle, or just plain old take a nap. If that means hiring a sitter so you can take a nap, then so be it! a well rested mommy is a much happier person to be around. Even when those around her are crabby. (yep, pointing at daddy)

Hugs to you.

Thanks.
BTW the PCOS came up after number 6 (at least that's what Dr and me were thinking) but I did deal with endo the whole time, toke 1 year and 9m to conceive #1 than I had surgery to clear some of it up so I could have number 2, LOL, don't know how #3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 happened.

Hope things get better soon. Marriage is tough enough. But add an illness in the mix and it really tests the relationship. I'll send up a prayer that the two of you can reconnect. Have faith, Jim and I are going on 23 years!
