The nurse was mistaken that I talked to, I'm not heavily allergic to wheat, thank goodness but Dr said to avoid it.

All I can say is 'oh crap!', Julie! My kids are alleric to cats. We have 4 . The best thing you can do if you need to keep your kitty (getting rid of ours was not an option) is to keep the cat out of their bedrooms at all times. I know how hard that is with small kids, but it is possible. Good luck sweety .

I better get the other kids tested now.
Oh geez now this too! Your DD has to avoid all those foods now, right? Best of luck, I've seen how hard it is. Maybe she'll outgrow them? Maybe the cat won't be a problem? My sister who's very allergic to cats has always had them. Her body got used to putting up with the allergies. I wonder if it's the same in kids? Or can she get allergy shots for the cat?

I can't believe this, I avoided wheat for a day and a half so far and have had NO IBS SX! Last night after dinner I was bloated and have had no cramping (I though my every day cramps were from the endometriosis, maybe not).

Hi Julie,

I too had endometriosis and had a laprascopy in February. Have you ever had any procedures for it? It has made such a difference in mine and all of the all over burning and tingling I had as well as the cramping and IBS.

Anyway wheat is a big no no for women with endo. Here is a link I found about what foods to avoid if you have endometriosis. Hope this helps.
