I must be bored today as I have started more than one thread this week....
I wonder [as a guy does] what do you drive? I don't think we have had this subject come up. so this thread has two parts. 1) what do you drive? 2) if money [or health] were no object, what would you drive? for me it is 1) I have a gold wheelchair van (for sale) and DW has a 99 Chevy Malibu While my mother and father are in Wisconsin for the summer I am borrowing their 03 T-Bird Convertible and LOVE IT 2) I want either a BMW 330 ci convertible or a 05-08 Mustang GT Conv. in a perfect body I would want another Harley-Davidson when I sell my van I AM buying a convertible.

if money were no object, and if I was strong enough to shift and press the clutch pedal,
(not to mention could actually *see* where I was going) I'd opt for something practical for living in the jungle. or maybe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover I'd want an OLD Land Rover, not one of those poser wanna-be later models. gimme one that can run on banana oil, and can climb up a cliff, ford a creek, and winch things outta da muck with ease, lol !!

My car is a 1999 Toyota Rav4-L.
It's black, has a moonroof, the lettering on it is silver/chrome. It's in perfect shape except for a scratch on the right front wheel well, where my dad scraped it down the side of the garage. (garage lost some wood and paint...I think the "damage" to my car is just paint transfer...I need to see if I can get it off) It's a 5 speed. I love manual transmission and I'm going to drive this car for as long as I can, until I cant handle it anymore, or until it falls out from under me. If for some reason that I have to get rid of it, the dream car would be a Toyota Highlander or a VW Bug (the newer model...rode in enough of the old style Bugs that I dont ever want to own one.)

Earl - I'm sorry your bored. While others on here spend time imagine what others "look" like (lol) you think about what others drive.
I drive a Ford Escape My dream car is an older Candy Apple Red Corvette. DBF has a corvette, rust color, and I love, love, love driving it. It is so much fun. Whenever we take it out I get to drive. As for the Harleys, DBF loves them and has a couple. Me, no, I don't ride. Well, occasionally I'll take a quick trip with him to the store. |

When I can I drive my Dads Cadillac CTS. I'm saving for something of my own. My last car was a Honda Civic.
My dream car would fly.

I drive a Mazda CX-9 crossover, seven-seater. It handles like a large sports car, and holds lots of "stuff". Today I bought a dresser at a yard sale and it fit with room to spare. I've even managed to haul a large glass-topped patio table (seats 6) and 2 chairs. I love it!
I would like to have a 1969 Mercury Montego. I had one when I was in jr high and have never gotten over my dad trading it off. It was banana yellow with black vinyl interior and was smokin' fast. Anybody know of one for sale? |

I am buying new Dodge Caliber in the next month or two . . . unless someone tells me it's a bad investment.
I currently drive either my soft-top 5 speed 4x4, Toyota Tercel, or Mazda MPV van (for transporting wheelchairs, etc.). Guess I'm going to have give something up, probably the standard transmission. Cherie
