That's great that your DH got to go with you Greta!! It's a good thing those friends didn't commit to going with you in the end.

Greta
I would have gone too. I'm glad DH was able to go. It's amazing how things work out as they should. You've got to share the play list. That way we can all sing-a-long.

I would have jumped at the chance to go to see Billy Joel. I love him. The last time I saw him was when he toured with Elton John. That was probably about 14 years ago. That was one awesome show with two legends.

I once had tickets for Billy joel and elton john. I got really sick and had
to give the tickets away. I was brokenhearted. Im so glad you got
to go with your dh. what fun. Let your dear friends kiss your wazoo
for now.

Yay you.

I had tickets to see Kiss and Areosmith together, front row. Jim got sick and he's so lucky I loved him enough to let it go. lol

Your friends have to have loose marbles in their heads.

I don't care how many times you see Billy Joel it is like the first
time.

So happy that your DH was able to go with you.

It is wonderful how Faith works out. "What is meant to be will be"

What do you know...it looks like I just asked the wrong friends!!!

The only bad part was that everyone there was OLD. Oh wait....so am I!

His roadie did sing Highway to Hell - it was hilarious and completely unexpected. He sang a lot of the older ones which are really my favorites. Root Beer rag, the Entertainer, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Zanzibar, many others I can't remember. Of course he did piano man as the final song. Not my favorite but it was very cool to hear the entire audience sing the chorus in tune.

I wish I could play piano like that. I had no idea his daughter was writing and singing - I'll have to look for her!
