Default My favorite comedian in the world just died.

Just saw on the news that George Carlin died today.

I am soooooo sad about this right now. Saw him in Omaha in concert in the mid-90's and nearly died from hypoxia (lack of oxygen) from laughing so hard.

He was probably one of the funniest people in the world.

Now the world isnt going to be so funny any more.

He was so funny! He led a hard life with drugs and died way too young at 71. I loved his humor. He was second to Steve Martin as my favorite comedian.

He was a brilliant man who didn't fear the censors or rules. Funny!! I will miss his humor. He won't be forgotten!!

Truly the end of an era. I'm just thankful that we have the media resources to revisit his genius any time we feel like popping in a DVD.

I used to love watching and listening to him in the 70's. He'd have me ROTFL.

Rest in peace George C.

I used to LOVE his version of the HippyDippy Weather Man. I saw him in NYC years ago when I was in graduate school, and although he wasn't as funny as he had been when he first became famous, he was still brilliant.

Godspeed, George.
