Smile For Earl

Just wanted you to know, Earl, that I'm still praying for you, your DW and your DD (dear dog!!). I do hope today will be a better day for you and that some of your burdens have been lifted.

Default Thank you!!!

Remember back "in the day" when people would BUY stamps, go to the stationary store and actually bought a card to say "thinking of you" and MAILED it to friends? That is what this post reminds me of. TRUE friends sending sincere thinking of you wishes. I really believe that if you knew my address, I would have a card in my box from you both. That is remarkable.

I want to say thank you. I know the rainbow will be at the end of this storm but don't think the storm will end anytime soon.

I am tired of being in constant pain. I am tired of my ears ringing with the tinitis. I am tired of life and am just staying at home right now. I don't go anywhere and am very content with that. I know if I don't go out, I won't have a car accident, I won't spend money I dont' have and can't afford. save money by cooking at home. Being home is not bad at all.

So, anyway, I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Earl,

This may not help, but I have a feeling that I need to send you a gallon of Rocky Road icecream (because that always helps me...and I assume that it will help you tolerate this stuff).

Hang in there.

Hello boat mate! Funny, I have been saying the quoted part above quite a bit myself lately. I'm even weary of some of the same things you mentioned. Hang in there. Good thoughts and prayers heading your way. We will watch for our personal rainbows together.

Earl - I will continue to pray for you and your family.

It is hard for me to give any words of wisdom or advice as I have been where you are and I know that anything that anyone said didn't make one bit of difference. I've been where you are more than once, twice, three times, etc. Somehow, I've made it through each of those times. Yes, Bon Jovi's song "Living on a Prayer" is the only thing that got me through.

I don't know how many times my phone got shut off, electricity only once, how many meals I skipped as I needed to conserve the food for DDs - they ate, I didn't. I remember the horror of knowing that in 2 days we would be evicted if I didn't come up with the rent. DDs Youth Group bought food for us AND used their fundraising money (was for a trip) to pay the rent.

My heart aches for you and I know the best thing that I can do for you right now is pray. Please know that I am praying for you as I am worried about you and know what you are going through.
