Makes perfectly good sense..I've always loved to read, it's a lot harder now..Keep havin' to re-read the same paragraph and end up too sleepy to get much beyond that..

I've always been a reader, since I was about four. When I was a kid, I'd read with a flashlight under the blankets.

I would read in the car, read in the bathroom, read at the table, read in the tub, read while I was watching television.

I used to take about 15 books from the library at once when my kids were little. I subscribed to about a dozen magazines to fill in the gaps.

Now it takes me two weeks to read a book, and if I miss a day, I have no idea what's going on and have to backtrack. Half the time I get to the end of a paragraph and realize that I have no clue what I just read. After I do that three times with the same paragraph, I give up.

Sometimes people recommend books to me, and I think, "Yeah, right. I'll get right on that." Like recommending War and Peace to a pre-schooler. Duh.

What's a "book"?

I love to read.... we don't watch TV so ready is what we do but I am finding it harder and harder plus I read so much in text books that I am tired by the time I can fit a "book" in. But, I understand what you are saying, B2U.

In Business Law we are studying Codes and Laws.... try reading the UCC standard laws and understanding them when Cog issues are there...... wow, that is a brain problem!

I like to watch old "I Love Lucy" reruns. I just love that show. That and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." Those two are my favorites.

I like to read Danielle Steel novels - mainly because they are fairly easy to follow. This last one that I'm trying to read ("Sisters") has been a little difficult. I find myself having to go back and reread more and more often in order to keep up with the storyline. I hope this isn't something that will get progressively worse - 'cos I love to read.....:(
