Default DD got a job!
My DD who graduated Friday from Radiology school has a job at the local hospital in Bangor! I am so proud of her - she will be working nights but making VERY good money!

She needs to take her state boards but the job is hers as soon as she gets it done!

congrats to a stellar daughter, with a fabulous mom !

I have one workin' on an advanced degree, one gainfully and happily employed, and the third, still puttering about, "finding himself" and sorta goin' to a few college classes...

2 outta 3 ain't bad, eh?

Great Job Kayo!!!

DD - is a Radiologist - she was accepted into the program her first year out of high school which is an accomplishment all in its own - there is usually a 2 - 3 year waiting period!

AWWW Char~ That is great news. You know the old saying that "The apple didn't fall far from the tree"??? Well, your DD is going to succeed b/c she has been raised right and she has a wonderful Mother who is always in her corner.

I know how proud you are of your girls. Congrats on a job well done on raising them.

Yeah! How absolutely wonderful! In this economy that is such a wonderful thing.

I was taking the train into Manhattan today and there was a mom, a DD and DD's friend. Friend said how it took a year to find a job out of college, DD has been out three years and still has no permanent job ( film school major).

Mom was reminding her that she must find a job by the end of August so that she has health insurance since the mom can't keep her on her policy.

You did very well and so did you daughter!! Congratulations to you both.
