Good luck with the move Greta! Now listen, if you don't have to work full time maybe go part time? I know what you mean though. When I was in Germany with Jim I worked on post and I didn't get a chance to go travel like some of the other wives. I missed that but it is what it is. I only worked part time though so I could at least see the areas around us more often.

It's moving time already???? Wow, Gret~ where did the time go?? You know I wish you everything great w/this move. I'm jealous, but I think FG is buying us all tickets to come visit you.

Ok, here's my new plan....speak English in a fake accent and wave my hands a lot and maybe noone will notice. ...just kidding.

Seriously, thanks to my many hours with language CDs, I can say many important phrases such as " I would not like it that way, but I would like it this way"; "2 beers please" and "let's eat!"

To improve my frame of mind....here is a list of the really good stuff:
  • I'm going to work my butt off to become fluent and no matter what I say, it will always sound beautiful.
  • Lovely mediteranean weather
  • Wine!!!
  • The opportunity to travel everywhere and anywhere
  • mozzarella di bufala (so not swank-friendly)
  • Did I say wine???
