I'm watching Cold Case on TNT right now. I'm about to switch channels, since it's one of the worst episodes they've ever produced. (switching channels...oh goody! Naked Archaelologist is on!)
The episode of Cold Case is the one where the murderer has MS and the writers of the show did absolutely NO RESEARCH about the disease while writing the (bad) plot. Claiming that MS is terminal, and that tremors are the big sign that the end is near... (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot???) Why havent they burned all the copies of this episode yet?!? I was newly diagnosed when I saw this for the first (and last) time (it was a repeat then too). It scared the hell out of me! Altho, I had already done my own research into MS and knew that the misinformation was not true...still, it scared the heck out of me. What worries me is that everytime they re-air this episode, there's probably some one who is probable MS or newly diagnosed that hasnt done much reading about MS and they will be terrified by the claims this episode makes.
