Keely, you have my utmost respect and admiration. To fight two horrible diseases takes incredible fortitude.

Thank all of you for your outpouring of love and care

I am relieved to report that the doctor says I do not have Crohn's.

After the GI doctor did the scope and talked w/ my surgeon he said the ulcers are near the re-sectioned portion and a reaction to the staples.

I just need to take iron supplements to keep the anemia at bay but that's about it.

joellelee2000, I'm so sorry to hear your DH and DS have this awful disease. My prayers are w/ them both.

ewizabeth, sorry to hear about your half sister having it. I'm glad she's doing okay tho.

Thanks again for all your suggestions, outpouring of love and care. It really warmed my heart to know I have such good friends, even tho we've never met in person.
