I'm home and too tired to describe. For those of you who have known me for more than 12 months, you know I spend one week in the Arizona mountains with kid's who have a family member affected by MS. This was the week.
It was our 3rd annual camp hope and the most successful, the first year we had 23 kids, this year we had 74!! we had some "bad apples" who quickly learned that they did not have any room to be "bad a#$ in the mountains, they could un-puff their chests and relax and have fun, which they did. I was the chaperone of the 13-16 year old boys and had three of the boys I have had each year back, I had two boys who were in my cabins last year and in '06 who have turned 17 and 18 and are now CIT (chaperone in training) who were also there. they did horse back riding, water games, arts and crafts, everything you can imagine at camp. I tried to make a slideshow with music but it is not nearly as good as others, I will post the link here but if it does not work, I may take it down and redo it. My first attempt at iMovie. Now after sleeping in a cabin on a 5 inch plastic mattress, I am glad to be home in my own bed. Hunter (dear dog) is doing good and Laura (DW) missed me tons. Camp each year is MY vacation and time to get out of the heat. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WZ3EgPhdpk4

That's wonderful, Earl! Was your friend, Rick, a counselor this year, too?
