ahhh...so you are getting some of our texas heat? about 104-5 here too.
be sure your ceiling fans are switched so they draw the air up from the floor. you don't want it pushing the warmer ceiling air down. stay hydrated.

I have my phototherapy session tomorrow for psoriasis. I have to wear long sleeves everytime I go outside. And the heat of the therapy just drains me. I hope I can get a close parking space. I may never get to my car. I have an auto start on my car so its nice and cool when I get to it.

My dad got home from working out this afternoon, after I'd re-routed the a/c from his basement office so that more cold air would shoot upstairs, and with the ceiling fans on. My dad said it was really comfortable upstairs, better than it was when he left to work out. (and it's still freezing in his office) My dad was surprised that I'd used the oven to cook a frozen pizza while he was gone. Usually that heats up the kitchen pretty bad. I may have him convinced to spend the few cents or quarters it takes to run the ceiling fans to help the a/c work better.

Oooo!! Can I come visit? I'm crocheting an afghan and I need to test it to make sure it's warm enough for this winter. and I have a bunch of scarves I knitted earlier this summer that I need to make sure will work too.

I've been lucky enough to have to go to Las Vegas this week for work where it's above 100 also! Everyone else who is also here with me can't believe that I'm not out on the strip sight seeing. I told them I'm going to the sessions that I need to attend and then 'chillin out' in my hotel room. It's too hot to be outside here - but it's almost this hot back home in Louisiana also.

Ummmmm......
Wet bulb is 78 degrees here in Houston right now. Dry bulb started out at 78 degrees but it's climbing. Supposed to hit upper 90's again today. That, in a word, is humid! Hey - I spent some time in NE last week. I really liked the Chadron area. And Scottsbluff. Tom |

It's in the upper 90's here in GA this week. I don't think my A/C kicked off once yesterday....ran the whole bloomin' day. I dread that electric bill but I can't help it.
My boys worked in the yard Sunday - trimming hedges, cutting grass, edging, etc. It was 98 that day. I think they went through a whole flat of bottled water in about two hours! We got horrible thunderstorms through here last night about 3 AM. A large sign was completely bent over the roof of a gas station not too far up the road - and the lightning was severe. It looked like someone had turned on my bedroom light when it woke me up. We're due for more storms today, too. I always pray that the electricity doesn't go out!
