I feel for ya, Greta. I loved your house too. It was great. And I LOVED that bedroom paint job. Awww..... hope the new owners appreciate that.

Did the dear boy let you do a final walk through?

BUT...... exciting things to come. And you still have to tell at least ONE person when you're coming through <hint, hint, hint....>.

We think eve of the 25th or morning of the 26th. So take the 26th off!! He who is to remain unnamed would like to map it and now with his new GPS he can likely tell you exact arrival times. Lord help me. We were just discussing arrival dates over margaritas. Too bad, we're having trouble remembering what we decided upon

greta,

i can understand your feelings. it's hard to say goodbye and leave a place you're so invested in.

but i'm also glad that you'll have some free time to get settled in your new place, even if it is a rental.

wishing you and your dh extra special good luck on your move.
i'll be anxiously awaiting word on how you are.

ps....where is cheryl going?

What's nice about a GPS is you can program in your route and if you forget where you're going, you can play it back later when you're sober. The key to having and using a GPS is to TAKE IT OUT OF THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT (hint hint hint)

I love my GPS...I USE mine. It doesn't stay in MY glove compartment!

Cherie,
For once I am left completely speechless! That must have been a nightmare and only reinforces the notion that I do not want to move out of this house

I don't think we're allowed to use that word on this board, Judy.

Get thee to the local iHOP and order copious quantities of food. That may help. And I shall expect hourly updates on progress through various states just so He who is to remain unnamed can play with his new toy. I'm sure that the powers that be will be overjoyed to receive a request for the 26th. Time will tell!

Yes, but first you have to get it to actually figure out what state you're in. Sometimes they get confused and you end up thousands of miles from your destination when, in fact, you are only 10 miles away. Interesting how that happens.

Yes, and beat people over the head with it who give you incorrect directions. Geez, a little phone for Mapquest and you think SOMEONE has issues?
