Ok, so I took the 4 pills at 3pm. Then i chugged the miralax/gatorade goo.
Became bloated, tummy burning and 2 hours later began to "go". It was pretty much the equivalent to the tummy flu. I dont get it. The way it was explained was like the "wild explosion of ????" Would take hours and you would be squeaky clean. Did i do something wrong? No I can continue w/ liquid diet til midnite? How did i screw this up????? |

It sounds like your doing it right. Jim's took awhile to get "going" when he had the prep for surgery. Then he went again in the morning. If your having a strong reaction you may want to let the doctor know. My MIL can't take the stuff because she gets deathly sick. She has diverticulitis and they don't mix.

I guess all doctors do it differently, but my dh's instructions that he did yesterday had him taking the pills, waiting for the first Bowel Movement and then start drinking the liquid. They had him start at noon the day before. He didn't complain of that issue, so I don't know if that method helps any.
